Great news! phpLD 3.3 has been released and is now final.

My experience with the 3.2 script version for the Authority Directory has been excellent and the support they provide is top notch.

Here is a link to the release.

Has anyone set up the 3.3 version yet or have plans to?

yes i love this new phpLD v 3.3 ... it have tons of more features that are very helpful. You know, i dont have much time to start and run a quality directory so nope for me. But what i was able to do was release the first free phpLD template for phpLD v 3.3 with only one footer link.

Excellent! Thanks for the heads up.

I think that was a little quicker than they originally forecasted...

It would probably be something new, maybe in a niche.

If you contact dawzz at phpld forum he would probably do it for a small fee. Well worth not having to hassle with it imo.

umm i believe they have template changes in the supporter forum but that is only exclusive for supporters to give them a head start with alot of other resources. If you are a supporter you should be able to view those.

I won't do the upgrade until some 2-3 months, till all bugs come out of the script. I would wait for response from other users ;)

yes sunny that is a smart move because BAMS is way to developed to change so quickly. Let other users try it out. I tried the beta version and reported many errors which all are fixed before this release. The thing is i dont really run the directory with users so my user would report a problem so it is hard for me to track bugs by testing by myself.

But it is a very stable script perhaps you should yourself set up the demo of the new version and check it out :)
