After seeing John McCain's wife, I now know for sure that Woman want a man who has power and wealth. That is it. If you have that you can get any woman in the world. There are no looks or personality. I guess it has to do with their natural instinct to protect their offspring...hence they are programmed to fall for such men.

 

Sure this is true if you want a "trophy wife." But then you must ask yourself why you are interested in a woman based solely on her looks?

If you are interested in a woman for reasons deeper than the superficial likely you will find one who thinks likewise and wouldn't marry someone like John McCain for all the money in the world.

 

Guess it is like a friend of mine said...I am a shallow person. All I care about is looks.

 

If this is the case then surely you cannot complain about a similar shallowness in women?

Or maybe I am taking what you are saying incorrectly. Are you saying now you know what you need to get a beautiful young wife? (power & money.)

I don't understand, personally, why someone would want to be married to anyone based just on looks. First of all looks can fade rather quickly. Secondly, will your life be completely miserable except when you are having sex or showing her off to people?

I guess I can't relate because I'm not shallow at all. I'm all about meaning in life, brother.

 

No I am not complaining. But I remember my high school days and we used to discuss how to attract extreamly beautiful women. I guess I have found my answer now. I am a very anti social person. I just need a great face and body to look at and be with so I guess my success depends on my money.

anions, not all women are like that. I'll admit a large amount are. For sure. But you must realize that you cannot attract thoughtful non superficial women unless you are attracted to them. Generally superficial men look for looks and superficial women look for power/money. These people generally find each other. If you looking for something more than you will find it, if you are looking superficially, then you will only get back what you are looking for.

All men are superficial and are attracted to woman's looks. Women are attracted to man's character/personality, social status and looks as well.
But obviously powerful and rich men get more attention from the ladies, same as a quarterback in highschool, that all women want to be with

I mean I am in that yes, of course I am sexually attracted to sexually attractive women, but not in the way in which I place more importance on that than on other things. That's the key to what I'm talking about. It's a matter of what you place importance on in your life. At a basic biological level we (men) are attracted to physical beauty, but if you wish to be more than an animal and have greater meaning in your life you have to look past such base impulses.

I do care somewhat about looks, but only because I want to be with someone who cares for oneself and their body. Looks aren't the important part at all. I care more for interests and commonalities and less so about shallow looks. I would not want someone who is just good looking. What life would that be? They would just be a shell, someone I do not even know. And when they age and their looks go downhill, then what? Find another hot, young thang?

That just sounds like a depressing lifestyle or you sound as if you're maybe 15 or 16 or at least still living with your parents.

Of course it's natural to be attracted to someone you find physically attractive but it's the interests and commonalities that make a relationship hae lasting importance & meaning. I don't understand people who are preoccupied with superficial stuff. I don't see how that sort of life brings any real happiness. I don't think it does.
