    #3. Why do people post with these "to good to be true" offers saying PM me for details. Why not just post the link in your thread?

    #3. Because quite often it involves you using their referral link. Posting of referral links is not allowed in the body of posts (although it is allowed in signatures). Plus whenever someone asks people to "PM me for details" it leads to a flurry of people reading incorrectly and replying with "PM me" thereby bumping the thread.
