Anyone can sue for any reason. The expense involved in starting a case against Google from India may be prohibitive. Additionally, it's probably going to be a toss-up on whether you would actually win, too.

They have already not shown more than 30% of my adsense earnings in my account for some unknown reason , I was told that it would be transferred after a period of 90 days but then their response has been dead .
I have yet to get any response about that .

Is there any adsense helpline ?

    technolarity ,

If I would be at your position , I would choose the easy way (calm and polite) and try to solve the problem

Im sure that if any legal actions will be taken against them , they might destroy all your reputation online by banning your sites url on Google , not allowing you to use their programs.

Trust me , you wont win anything (except losing some money) for any legal actions

    Thanks

    Olgi

sorry, am I reading this wrong, you are complaining about the 12% drop in relative value on an amount of $100? ie. you are talking about suing then over $12?

I might have got this wrong, as it just seems a bit on the funny side... can you imagine what their legal team would do when they got the notification of a lawsuit for $12 because the USD had dropped, which last time I checked at least, wasnt down to google :D

But still, they should do their job in the first place ;)

Also, it would be a good source of traffic if you sued them, it would be on quite a few news websites and might get you a bit of traffic :p

    Just saying.

Not being in india I cant comment on google india's performance, but I have certainly always been impressed by their response rates for such a large company. They are better than my bank, telephone provider, broadband provider, local council, electric company, mobile phone operator........ the list will go on and on.

but still, are we really talking about $12?? Jeees....

What if I take this to http://www.core.nic.in, India's consumer care helpline (Govt. Agency), they solve cases very quickly & without any money ( you don't need a lawyer, just have to put forward the facts )

    @MOG

I crossed $100 in 2006, it's 2008 now, so if you think rationally, I've made manifold of that figure. And this is not about $12 or $1200, it's about trade ethics. Just because people in India don't sue as often as the Americans, you can't this to them.

but then again, he could hav egiven up on the account since the problem and be takling about the 12 outta 100.

India consumer authorities do not have jurisdiction over Google which is incorporated in the USA. 12% drop of out $100 is $12. Sure you can sure Google, but the venue of the lawsuit would be in USA. Anyone can sue anyone it is a right, whether you succeed or not is another question. But I can safely say that the costs of litigation will be at least 100x if not 1000x more than what you have lost.

Even, if you have made many times $100 since then, the USD falls steeply only recently, so there seemed to be some contraction.

Suing for your trade ethics sure you can go ahead, I wish you the best and hope that you have a fat wallet to support your ethics.

manifold is either an engine part or an abstract space defined mathematically.

I think you mean "many times" ;) .

Even so, I think the jokes on you bud, if they had told you that you werent going to get paid, why did you leave the ads running for over a year??
