    I want to buy something online, but I need a credit card for that.
    If i buy a virtual credit card and connect it to my PayPal account, can I use it then?

    Is VCC officially or formally accepted by paypal co?

    you should clarify this ,:)as accounts will be limitied later if some issues happened.

    VCC is not officially or formally accepted by paypal co? They require adding CC to identify users so I think VCC is not

    PayPal doesn't have anything against Virtual Credit Cards yet but there might be in future (No one knows).

    Yes you can add VCC to your PayPal account for online payments without any problem.

    It depends on which VCC you use ? Some are made just for the sole purpose of fooling the Paypal verification process and that's it as they cannot be reloaded.

    However some like ePassporte Virtual Visa can be reloaded but they cannot be used with Paypal. I did contact ePassporte about it and they say they blocked all payments through Paypal because of fraud. So technically speaking, not all VCC can be used with Paypal.

    Make sure that the VCC is bank-issued then you would have less issue and more probably of using it with Paypal. If not then that may be an issue.

    Yep, Agreed with you! Not all VCCs can be used with PayPal but I'm talking about shopping cards as they are multi-times cards (unlike traditional paypal verification cards) so one can shop easily and PayPal almost accepts all shopping cards.

    If the card is a physical visa or mastercard debit card then you have a better chance of getting it to work paying online.

    as far as i know, paypal has officially lauched its own Virtual Debit Card so i am not sure if thay have any problems with its members using VCC for verification as long as they can prove the address specified.
