Hi, i have a couple of ideas to get some money but i need your help for some of it. 1. Im going to start an online game website (like miniclip.com, freeonlinegames.com). Just i want to know where do i get the games to put on the site in the first place? 2. Im going to make 2-3 proxys to start off, does anybody have a guide on to making a proxy? Also i remember people having to but the proxy code's has this changed? 3. I also have a vB so im going to make this into a photoshop designs kind of forum, submit loads of tutorials on it - hopfully get some on pixel2life/goodtutorials and this can be a way to market it? The photo shop stuff works to a degree. I have it on one of my forums complete with SOTW (sig of the week) and offer cash prizes for people to compete over. I think there was a proxy guide I saw just the other day on here. I could be mistaken, but run a search.
They burn out in a few weeks, or months. So the cheapskate webmasters grab inexpensive domains to keep reselling proxy sites over and over for $10-25 each (i.e. maximizing profits) Also in regards to the .info, you might be able to get some nice keywords in a domain name for SEO purposes in secondary TLD's.
Eventually most proxy sites will get found out and blocked by the workplace. Not always, but more than not. It's been discussed in more details around the board. Run a search mate.
The only gaming sites I have experience with are arcades, and selling game downloads. I have since sold both off. So in regards to what you were looking for on that, I am not much use.
you can buy ready-made scripts that come with lots of free games. google it. also, you can download the games for free or provide visitor to upload their own games. another option, I'm using VBulletin + VBArcade to host my games. and they work great too. You can refer their support forum to get more free games that compatible with this mod.
