Whatever you wanna think. You don't need my approval. I have my opinion and I have clearly stated it. Let me tear your whole world apart one sentence at a time. He couldn't have done that had you not given him your password. Any direct proof of this? And again...if he did it's because you allowed him access. If you do have proof (which I doubt) then you should be contacting the FBI cybercrime division instead of whining at DP. He can't steal something you shared with him. You can't patent an idea either...if he built the code then in reality it's HIS CODE not yours. Copyright belongs to the author. No he doesn't say that...he states that he has backdoors in HIS CODE that he will use. Probably a good idea being the code is his and all. You have no right to use it without his permission. That's slander and libelous. You could be sued for a lot of money for stating such things. Unless he is convicted of a crime you can't say that. More of the same from you...libelous statements. If true then why not contact the FBI to investigate? It's probably imho that you are the liar here. You certainly know how to stretch the truth. Anyone using a universal password and sharing it deserves to be pwnd. No one...I mean no one...not even my own wife knows my most secure passwords and I have a dozen of them at least. It's poor security habit to use a universal password and even sillier is sharing it with someone. So he says everyone one triplechat is his and not yours then you say... "yeah, maybe"? Which is it? Is he some thief or is the code and information his? If he bought a Vbulletin license then what's your problem there? Again...lies about stealing passwords that are partially his anyways. If he built the site without encoding the passwords that's not stealing. It's poor coding and certainly how he uses that information might be a problem BUT when you enter information into another site that information is no longer private. When you search at Google..they log that information. When you search whois...someone logs that information. Always consider when creating a password at any site that what you type MIGHT be viewed by another person. And simply viewing that information is NOT a crime in any way shape or form. Where do you say this? You're once again lying blatantly. I have read this thread 5 times...you say nothing of the sort. This is why I really don't believe you in anything. Your unreliable and are making some outrageous claims. Nope...and I speak for myself. Why would he need your permission? Were you his boss? Nope. Again..another claim of wrongdoing on his part that just isn't true. While you feel he did a lot of wrong things in reality he just did things you didn't like. Was he a bad partner? Probably...but are you no better? You start a thread in a webmaster forums slandering his name and site. I personally would get a lawyer and bring your ridiculous arse to court for compensation. Enjoy.
Tear my whole world apart? Please, don’t flatter yourself. 1. We were partners and we shared certain systems like email and at one point I gave him direct access to the domain, but I changed it after I separated from the site. So, regardless of what I gave him while we were under good term, that does not give him the right to access without my authorization. 2. Ok, so you ask for proof and then end off with “it’s because you allowed him accessâ€. First off, no, I didn’t. Again, another example of you trying to speak on more than you actually no, you don’t. Yes, I do have proof. http://www.n4g.com/up/7166/submissions.aspx Go to that link and scroll down to the news post titled “Blu-ray Is Still Winning, But Can It Continueâ€. This was my account called “Sobey†and that was my last news posting on N4G because SectionZ, again, stole my password and used it to log-in to my account and then change the information (name, password, and even email address). Now, scroll up to the very first posting titled “PlayStation Store (PC) On Mac Workaroundâ€, and look at the date it was posted “26 days 20 hours agoâ€. Hmmm, that’s odd because that’s exactly when the administrator of the website, Dusty, gave me the account back. Proof: http://i19.tinypic.com/73a9mwi.jpg http://forums.n4g.com/m_51466/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm#51521 http://forums.n4g.com/m_52934/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm#52934 (Lol, I just checked the account and turns out he has stolen it, again.......but anyways, the picture I showed you shows that the confirmation email for "Sobey" was sent to my email at "illwitted@gmail.com". I'm not exactly sure how he did it again, because I did change my password on my gmail.com account and the "Sobey" account had a brand new password, too. He seems to have changed the visible username on the profile to "TripleTags", instead of Sobey, as well as the password.) Anyways, I've contacted the admin once I again, so I should get my access back.) 3. Dude, have you been reading this thread or anything that I’ve said here? The guy who he did it to, who happens to still be working for him, said that what I was saying is true. “SectionZ then hacked Narutos stuff†– EvilChicken He’s referring to the incident where “SectionZ†used his own password without him knowing it (supposedly) to gain access to an account on my website to delete posts. More Proof: http://img246.imageshack.us/img246/7448/proofofecwk9.jpg 4. I’m not claiming ownership of the code, I’m claiming the idea, which was mine, and then the idea was taken by the person in question, so yes, it is stolen. 5. Can you not read, sir? He did indeed say that. EvilChicken first says this…….. “SectionZ then hacked Narutos stuff to get back†Then, in the same sentence, he says this….. “which is what I will be doing to Naruto sense I have built many back doors in the SPG network.†Wrong! He has no rights to the website anymore. Anything that was done, was done out of a favor for the website, not for his own gain. We already had a discussion and it was agreed upon that he is no longer apart of the website. 6. Don’t lecture me on law. If it’s the truth, then he can’t show slander or libel, and I do have the proof. Hacking, downloading and using another person’s vBulletin software, and assuming someone’s identity by stealing a password on a website is illegal activities, which I do have proof of them both doing. 7. I may do that. 8. I agree, but just like a hooker doesn’t “deserve†to be raped while doing her job, I don’t necessarily deserve to have these things happen to me, although because of the fact I did somewhat bring upon myself, that still doesn’t change the fact that some of these things were against the law. 9. Ok……..you clearly left out the word “nowâ€â€¦â€¦.yeah, that was kind of the key part to the sentence, and I think you know that. I said “Yeah, maybe now†because when he started the site he used software he illegally downloaded from my website – You need your own license to operate vBulletin software. I confronted him about it in the email, threatened to report him to vBulletin, and that’s why he did end up buying a license. I was pointing out that this is something he DID do, not that he was still doing it (I said that, too) 10. Nope, wrong. 11. You do not. You speak as if you fully know the situation. I know I have the burden of proving my case, but you seem to have already passed judgement on me, and although the perps in this thread have actually admitted, yes admitted, to doing these things and even gone as far as to say they’ll do it again, you find me “untrustworthyâ€. 12. Why? Because we created an agreement and in that agreement it was made clear that we would discuss things like this with each other……….and as 50/50 partners that’s common sense for something as big as trying to change the domain name. You’d lose. Fin. (I have shown you proof on multiple things here, so, now, hopefully, you'll be a little open-minded instead of thinking the worst of me. Hey, at least I've taken the time to gather evidence and proof, the other two have only offered their words. I've given you quoted text as well as picture evidence, and I'll be happy to show you more.)
Yeah you win NarutoBoy. I give up. He was wrong and you were right..blah blah... <going about my day and not caring>
Rec, don't come into this thread and act like you know something about this situation. You ended up putting a foot in your mouth. EC was in the wrong by going into his N4G account, and other miscellaneous things. Especially taking weak, and cheap blows to him via his website Blog. I don't like what EC was doing on his blog section, especially not in the mass-email, it amazes me, that members would re-register to this site after witnessing to all this mess. He fumbled his case, by escalating the situation further and further, the court WILL chew EC out the minute they find that he pushed the situation further along...He should have kept his mouth shut, and let the court battle commence. But no, he shot himself to the foot by insigating more problems for the situation. That will be his downfall.
By dragging this argument onto a public forum he's been given the right to say whatever he feels about the situation. If you don't like it I suggest you move to a more private medium. That would be the professional thing to do. Which is something many DP members have already pointed out to you guys. But for some reason you guys don't seem to care about what's professional. Which is why hardly anyone here cares who's in the right in this argument. There isn't going to be any winner in this dispute, and you guys all lose out because of your drama. Your partnership was a disaster learn from it and move on. The time you guys spend here and everywhere else crying about it could be better spent working on your own projects.
Is that why this thread keeps on getting bumped? Not by me, but others who are posting again and again to say they don't care. Take a look around, the legal section is filled with issues that were once private, and this turned into an arguement when the perpetrators came in and tried to sway the opinion of Digital Point members and whoever else happens to read this thread. Which, by the way, they were able to accomplish with the help of a Digital Point member who can't read (see the comments about EvilChicken threatening to hack my website). It's not about "winning" anything either, although I am the only one who has provided proof and I have not threatened to hack anyone's website in this thread, unlike the two perpetrators here, SectionZ (p80i) and EvilChicken. (the bleeped word is the TripleTags domain name) Anyways, I proved my case whether or not anyone wants to care anymore. However, I'll say this, I find it funny that as soon as I provided proof on my end, the same person who argued with me from page one and all the way to page two, all of sudden doesn't care, hmm.
The legal section is supposed to be a place for webmasters to give and receive legal advice. Just because people like to drag their disputes into it doesn't make it a professional action for you or anyone else to do. You created this thread for no other reason, but to open a new front in your little online war. I can recall doing similar things when I was 13. I've since grown up. I'm sure in time you will too.
Not true, like your comment about no one caring, and actually I did ask for legal advice (read, read, read), whether or not people chose to give it is totally out of my hands.
