Just got accepted to Yahoo Publisher Network!

I just received an email telling me that they accepted me and to login and get started.

The problem is that I am actually getting some clicks through adsense, not crazy money by any means, but I don't think I can have both on the same site.

Has anyone had any success with yahoo? Is it worth switching over from adsense?

Experiment. The best way is to try it out, one day without Adsense won't hurt if it's not "crazy money". Good luck!

I believe they are both contextual so a big no no for putting them together on the same page

Congratulations on being accepted to the YPN program. :)

DO NOT... I repeat, DO NOT abandon one ad system over another when it has proven earnings.

Not all pages are good for all ad options. So, you need to use YPN as a complement to Adsense.

    As someone said earlier, experiment!

a lot of irrelevant ads are displayed on YPN on some days, on other days not so bad. Also their earnings payouts have dropped over the last several months due to their version of "smart pricing" (at least that is what i understand). Sometimes I think they are deliberately sabotaging themselves when it comes to displaying targeted ads. Give it a try and let us know. Good luck to ya.

I will suggest start a new site and use YPN on it. Leave your adsense running as it is.

    Good Luck.

I just got on YPN as well. Funny thing is I try and try for a year and a half to two years to get on to YPN, then I write an article about YPN being a second run service who can't get there act together and BAM! I'm approved for YPN. Probably just a coincidence. At least now I will be able to demo them completely out. I think themesclub is right, start a new site for YPN and leave Adsense alone. I have an Adsense account on my sites now and will leave it that way.

Are people still receiving bigger gains on Yahoo than Adsense? It was like that back in the day, but don't know how it is now.

I just received an invite in the last 30 minutes. Seems yahoo knows when you have given up and become desperate as I paid for an invite this past Sunday.

If anyone is still looking for an invite, I plan to sell mine:

I like this option. Too bad Adsense doesn't do the same thing.

    Competition is a GOOD thing!
