I think man its hard to find an idea thorugh which anyone can be rich in any online business without big investment. I think you should choose a niche and launch a book or ebook. And do marketing for it. Like Rich jerk.... DO something different. Becoz Winners dont do different things, they do the things differently .... SO do the things differently...
I've been looking for someone like you! The idea I have is a site called Klezmerati.com for the klezmer music community. It could be monetized in so many different ways: as an Amazon affiliate, with a classified section for local gigs, paid advertising for bands, Hire artist experts to write informational articles about the industry and klezmer history and culture... I think it's a great niche because it crosses over into other genres of music and other aspects of Jewish culture. There's a lot of merchandise involved, too: music, books, musical instruments, supplies, etc. Let me know if you want me to elaborate at all. p.s. as far as marketing, we might be able to work out a deal because my husband works for Netbiz.com as an internet marketing consultant and Google affiliate.

I won't suggest any amazon kind of stuff as too many people are already in the business. Ask me and I won't rely on any other service except Amazon. So it is tough to construct that kind of trust as Amazon has done. Why would someone post what they think would be a great idea for everyone to see. I would do this privately and have people pm you ideas. But then again people dont know if you will just take their idea without paying.
@mikshake: I don't know about your mind set mikshake but I follow what Google follows DO NO EVIL! I do not have that much money that I can launch that kinda network else I know that I am capable of creating havocs in the blogger world And what confirmation you give that IF we discuss this idea privately then the other party won't use my idea and won't recognize me? See if they use my idea and do not recognize me then they will fail! Fact! Remember...share share share...after all that is the theme on which Internet is working ...hmm? And one more point..I do not run out of ideas because I look for ideas in my daily stuffs. Like the punch line of my blog CompuWorld (link in signature) is "The Genius Inside You Still Sleeping" and you know how it struck me. Once while I was in 8th class my teacher wrote a remark in my result.. "A genius student who is still sleeping"..this line hit my brain back when I was searching for a punch line for my blog CompuWorld The day I will have money I will have more ideas...until then let those grow who got money to make investments.. ?? I have several business ideas but how I am sure that you say that you don't like it and you still do it. I can't do it by myself because the ideas require loads of programming. Maybe there are some programmers interested in a joint venture, or better I would ask to PM me anyone interested in joining a business, with money or work(SEO, programming, designing). I have the ideas and a few hundred $. Don't PM just to get the ideas because you will not get it from the begining. I think that the ideas are good, unique and profitable.I personally never heard such sites(because the ideas are about sites) on the internet.
maybe it's not an new business idea but maybe I want to share about a business opportunity that I think have a big market value, but I don't have that much money to do that thing. My idea is that you create a professional website which allows people to record and upload their music/voices/acts. Much in the same way as YouTube allows videos that you create, but your site would be like a showcase of talent for people wanting present ideas for voice acting etc. You then get in contact with established sound recording studios and show them things that they may be interested in every now and then, thus incentive for the hardcore musicians/voice actors to get heard. Big gaming corporations like BioWare would also be alerted to your site to see if they're interested in hiring people to do in-game voices and characters. This is a fairly underdeveloped part of the web I have found and you could seriously capitalize on. You could also provide a friendly/social section for those who want to use your site as a place to display their custom songs/jokes or what have you and if you integrated an online chat system/plug in free for users their will be a lot for users to use that isn't offered anywhere else. I had a really good idea that I wanted to start up on my own, but it requires a lot of money and time for the startup which I could no where near offer. Here it is. I wanted to start up a large forum community. It would be similar to Yahoo Answer's as in how the categories are very diverse, but it would be slightly limited. You would then implement a point system that is similar to most forums where you can earn for posting, references, contests, etc. and then have prizes that can be won in exchange for points. If it is very large and there is a large selection of prizes available you will be able to attract members as long as they can see that it is realistic. Look at it as paying the members for visiting your website per post and in exchange having advertisements (CPC, CPM, and Sponsorship Advertising). The hardest part with forums is always that you have to make sure that it jumps off really fast as a success or it will fail, but you have the money where you can offer a lot of special promotions to interest people and they will stay once they see they can have their favorite discussions and win a large assortment of prizes. As for the prizes, ideally you should offer a small, medium, large, and extra large valued prizes for each category of discussion. Just for the record, I had this idea when I was 15; before yahoo answers which launced dec of 2005 ( I turned 16). It is just easier to explain it using them as an explaination as how to offer a wide diversity of forum categories.
