GoDaddy is crap. I was with them for a year, then two weeks after I paid for a second year they sent me an email stating I was using too much RAM. I then emailed them back, no response, so I called them. They stated I was using too much CPU. I asked them what the problem was. They stated they couldn't tell me!

Then, I received another email from them stating it was a RAM issue. I emailed them back, they say they can't tell me what the problem was.

I don't use any programs that use a lot of RAM/CPU and wasn't even close to the max bandwidth.

They then threatened that if I didn't pay for a DEDICATED server, they would close my account and take my domain. So, naturally I changed hosts.

You can host 1 domain - you can have unlimited subdomains. You may register multiple domain names and plug in name servers for other hosting sites (I have and am doing this).

What I think you are asking is if you can host multiple domains with your hosting account - I believe the answer is no. Email support for the straight scoop (they have been helpful to me).

I have a Yahoo domain pointed at a webpage on my site that cloaks an affiliate link - (comes in handy).

I have used YSB for about 2 years.

Good uptime and server speed. But the control panel is not so user friendly.

Yahoo small business sucks. When I first got started I was using yahoo small business. It was three months later i was have a trouble with the c panel i kept call support and they said they would look in to it. When a page got a hit it would show for a hour then it went back to zero. This went on for five months. I know the pages got hit cost i was using pay per click at the time. This started in last november then in febuary I emailed them I gave them till the end of march to fix. Which at that time I started looking for other hostings I found the host I am on now. I called up the support every week for five freakin months with a company of that size you think they would fix it. They suck big time and they keep e mailing me say they will give me another domain and discount but not in this life time

I have close to 100 sites and have used many different hosts and I have to say that Yahoo! is by far the WORST I've ever used. To answer your question - no you cannot have multiple domains with one hosting package with them, you have to order a completely different one.

There's the .htaccess thing for one... but it gets far worse... I have had several nightmares happen with them over the years and most involved their INCOMPETENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I have a domain company steal my domain from them a few years ago (completely without my permission. I called and talked to many people there and they all just kept saying they didn't know how that could happen because it's not allowed without my permission. The worst part of it is that they could never get it back, so now I have to pay their high monthly fee PLUS extra for the domain every year even though the hosting fee is supposed to include the domain.

Also, I've tried transferring domains from them to another host and even though I followed all of their lengthy procedures, sometimes the domains didn't get transferred and this resulted in me losing a few.

Then the worst thing happened this last summer... my biggest money-making site went down (it was always #1-#3 for its main keyword in Google), I wrote and called them constantly for two weeks and no one could give me an answer or help out until FINALLY one guy there told me that my site was hacked (he said the other reps were too embarrassed to admit it) and that they weren't going to turn my site back on. Later that night I transferred it to HostGator (my favorite hosting place) and it was up and running and they even found the bad file and removed it and sent me a friendly note with the details. I've finally managed to get back up to the #5 position on Google after losing over $1000 because of my site dropping.

Oh, and if you ever want an updated forum or blog - forget Yahoo!

    They are the absolute WORST!

While troubleshooting my Yahoo problems I found this site - very true and very funny!

Anyone with helpful bits on yahoo. Began a few days ago, find them painfully slow. Hard to fathom slow. Saw someone posting offer for $7 w/ info on ppc or seo but lost the thread. Happy Holidays. Thanks.
