Yes, definitely yes. During the time I read about many statements here on D.P. about income increasing after increase of PR. Generally, it seems that most of us agree that PR is not the most important [and/or unique] criteria for a relevant web directory, but most of us submit our sites in high PR directories...
Most but not all Some of my highest earners do not have PR worth writing home about, yet still receive a good number of submissions. A lot of the more established SEO firms who practice directory submission also recognise age as a factor.
This is the key to keeping a directory online. The longer you have been around the better. Some directories owners, including myself, have a faithful group of submitters and despite the pr changes these submitters keep coming back to submit more sites to the directory. So although pr might be the most important factor for some, it is not the most important to everyone.
hheh well evidently YAHOO feels that Googles PR if "Flawed"... wow say it aint so Yahoo Finds Fault with Google's Secret Sauce and also an article here SEO by the Sea Yea i was wondering when yahoo would jump out at the opportunity to devalue googles PR ... thx malcolm
Thank you for the resources. [Rep. was added.] The domination of Google in the Search Engine field would deserve a heavy weight response from the competition and - why not? - a more accurate evaluation of every internal and external link.
