dont worry,i am quite sure everything would be okay:). they will never risk their reputation for 2500$. they are dealing in larger than that.

i am sure they will sort it out just dont give up calling them again and again
i think they will never take your money it is all about their reputation

i hope your problem would be solved very soon .

I have problem too with MB, a month ago my account was blocked, after I send a doc to MB, they closed my account :(

They told I must call MB's customer service for reopen again my account. I have a hundred bucks in my account, until now I never call them coz I cant call them from my home, its take a big fee for calling MB.

My question for everyone, if I reopen again my account, Would my money in my account is still avalaible?

I've lost hope as I've tried calling them few times and they never responded (their customer service representatives don't know about the reason) and they ask me to wait for their email, they never emailed me after the one I posted in my first post.

I've stopped using MB and I'll ask every one to be very careful, as www.moneybookers.com SUCKS

Damn, another unhappy customer of MB.

    (1) To reduce cost of calling to UK, US, Canada you should use skype.

    (2) Don't open a new account. It will be detected and act as Proof of you being fraud.

Better you keep calling. And try to switch from MB to others.

I still think you should not give up.
I am sure they would not like to put their reputation at stake because of $2.5k which do not belong to them.

I am using them too, and so far, I've had no problem... :S
So, I can't exactly say whether they're good or bad... But I do feel sorry for others here

there was so much buzz about google checkout. and saying it will be alternative to paypal..

    what alternative google has introduced?

nothing but a merchent account for sellers???

i think if anyone can come up with a true payment processor it should be google.. but they just care to fill their pocket and lastly came with a credit card processing system (not a paypal alternative)

what a bad luck.. i had so much hope of google checkout.. as people was telling it will be strong alternative to paypal.. but they dissapointed big.. and i dont know what alternative they have produced.. may be 2checkout alternative..

For people who cannot sign up for Paypal, but still want to accept Paypal payments,
    http://www.2checkout.com is the best solution.

Google is not exactly the best when it comes to payment processing, however, they certainly are the leaders in the Advertising industry ;)

    Just my $0.02

I've been reading the forums about moneybookers.
I also had a problem with Moneybookers recently. I respected all the limits allowed to my account to send money to a relative abroad. As soon as the transaction was processed (without any apparent problem) they decided to freeze both accounts and kept insisting that we were using moneybookers for commercial purposes. we sent ID documents (again!) as requested but at the end they kept asking us for an company URL that we didn't have. So they ended up closing my account. No explanation at all about why they believed that I was using MB for commercial purposes. I think they couldn't understand the problem. Very disloyal. I'm happy to have my account closed finally, Paypal is still by far the best even if a bit more expensive but I couldn't use it with the country I needed to sent to.
    I wouldn't recomend them.

Another unhappy MB customer. The worst part of the story is they never give you the reason for closing accounts and this simply is non-professional.

but also if he had a personal account why would Moneybookers ask him to give company URL

i think in if it was a Personal account then only the normal documents will be needed and they wont ask for a company URL

anyway i feel bad that Moneybookers is acting like that and i hope that they stop blocking so many accounts like that or else they will lose Their reputation as a good payment processor

    Cheers
    Adel
