Hi Guys, i am surfing this forum for a quite long time, i guess here we have great adsense masters. i am using adsense on two of my Web directoriesas http://www.worldwebdirectory.co.uk/ http://www.coolseller.co.uk i am trying to improve my adsense, i tried majority of formates, but my daily revenue is not getting above $1.00. some time few less than $0.20. Would any one like to give me suggestion i will really appreciate that. Many thanks
Your placement on WWD looks great for the most part, one thing that would help improve your CTR is moving the leaderboard banner from the bottom of the page to above the fold where it would become much more visible. This will therefore attract more clicks if more people see the actual ad. Remember the other part of the equation is traffic. You will need more traffic if you want to increase the amount of clicks. For something like a directory they're wouldn't be many things you can do to dramatically increase CTR (well as long as you stick to ethical tactics that is). Good Luck!
Don't mislabel your ads. I'm not sure if it's intentional, but on coolseller i clicked on Religious and it looks like you can get into trouble the way it is on there. Edit: It's like that on all categories. That's against TOS.
Yeah, you cannot prepend "Featured Sites" header to the adsense ads. Improve your traffic, not adsense.

Before i was using same kind of banner on the top under the intro text. but then i realise that the directory looks like filled with ADSENSE only, so to clean up i removed it. but i guess, i will move the bottom ad to top. i will really like to hear more, as it is helping me to understand Adsense in BIger picture.. thanks ever one.
I don't know if your traffic varies significantly during the week. However, the only logical way to increase your daily earnings is by increasing your traffic. Then, worry about the ad placement.
Always remember one thing that if your traffic is increasing that does not mean that you should get more revenue. I have a website on which daily around 100 to 125 clicks happening with around 15k page impression it gives me only $40 to $50 per day. The day i have 20k page impression revenue is always under $30 Your website niche acts Major part in your earnings
