Hi! As many[/all?...] of you know, these days Google is working on the periodical PR* update. This update seems to be a radical one. There are web/bid directories which are already "suffering" - here is an example: www.bigweblinks.com As I know, at a certain point, bigweblinks.com has PR6... What about your directory?... *Page Rank
For me, the revelation of these non web directory friendly times is the PR6 www.nextdir.com with a few PR4 internal pages.
heck he may start getting spammed by horny women seeking ..... johnny holmes 2 lol @aspidov I just read that the local fire department had a section of hose stolen overnight and are requesting it back! thx malcolm
So what did you expect? bigweblinks pr was mostly achieved due to aggressive advertising campaign on hundreds of websites. Then it was stopped all and we know why. So what could be the result if thousands links just dissappeared? Not a surprise at all. But big surprise for all those 11-17 years old trolls, I'm sure
correct apply the same result using the same formula for a lot of the other directories penalised also
Yeah, life goes on. And show must go on! There's no sense to stop and cry a river over single or few penalised websites. Just leave it and go into something next or completely new. I'm sure this is the story of the owner of bigweblinks and some owners of other directories, also of me personally.
got pr 0, but my directory is completely human-manged, so it's different and more alive than directories with prs
PR is just a secondary element with the directory industry, Primary aspect is quality of service and support- not to mention the usability of the directory.
