In my opinion PPP is just too annoying and if you adopt it your traffic will decrease.
Not to mention problems like bots, etc.
    Well, time will show...

I have heard about this PPP. It would really make head start if the automated programs do not spoil its future.

Of course Google would be interested, it's another form of advertising they haven't conquered. Just because they're supportive doesn't make it a good idea. Any sort of audio ads = fail (at least unexpected ones, I don't mean things like radio ads)

If ads or video's start playing without me requesting them I just leave, I think most people will do the same. Having to click to hear or watch an ad does not ram it in the face of the visitor.

I just visited their site and I will definitively give it a try. The expect 0.01 to 0.03USD/play. If - IF! - they can keep their promise I'll be very happy! Otherwise it will be a dustbin operation.

Hi , just to continue th post here is a post from Larry Host from Voice2Page -
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=636028&page=3

    Hello everybody!

I was invited to join this group by STE1975. Thanks Steve.

    Just a couple of things:

First, the message from config.com. Whenever a program get to the size we have, it is inevitable that trolls, scammers and celebrity stalkers crawl out from under the rocks.

We agree with Joe at config.com that anybody who goes out and gets a similar url to ours MUST not have the best of intent. 'sellppp.net' is NOT related, in any way, to our legitimate 'sellingppp.com'. Nuff said, they are not us. Avoid them.

We are most often asked three questions and I am taking the liberty of pasting my canned response to these topics.
I enjoy reading these posts and really appreciate being able to add my $0.02.

I want to clarify three misconceptions:

    1) CPM is determined by the results of our audit by BPA Worldwide. One thing really missing from Internet advertising is the time honored tradition of 'Third Party Audit' to assure advertisers that the placements that they are paying for actually occur. Think 'Nielson Ratings'.

    2) Volume! We digitally smooth and manage every audio we play so there is no BLASTING of the eardrums. Most audio on the net is played as it was recorded, without gain control, noise reduction or any other professional editing to make it comfortable to hear. We spent several years and hundreds of millions of audio plays getting this part right. Why do you think we gave away Voice2Page for personal use for free all this time?

    3) Overuse - This is the most valid concern mentioned here. The temptation to place an audio ad everywhere is quite strong, but that would be extremely counterproductive for all concerned. We have built our engines to determine, as best as possible, each individual website visitor and to insure that they receive no more than ONE ad and if they remain on that domain more than three minutes, another, different ad may be played.

As with all advertising, there is a segment of the population that abhors it. This cannot be avoided. In a free market society, advertising is essential for growth. We truly feel that the concept of the ‘Adlet’, a 5 to 6 second branding ad, is one of the least intrusive means to keep a label in peoples minds.

Thank you all for this opportunity to get my $0.02 out.

    Larry Host
    CTO and Co-Founder, Voice2Page.com

I have not used any ppp website. Could you give me link of ppp website to look at so that I can give my honest decision after looking at.

Till now, It seems to me that pay per play (PPP) is not a good advertising medium since here you are forcing our prospective to pay for the view a look about your product instead of purchasing a product or services.

No one would be willing to pay, if you ask charges to view more detail about the products.

I also request you to give your opinion in more detail.

I figure ppp is a bit of a fad and there simply won't be as many advertisers in the ppp market, due to the simplicity of cpc and cpm ads, Just loadin in a url and some text rather than recording audio and such.

But Tell us what the real deal is about this?

    http://powerpagematrix.com/lawrence-w-host-probation.jpg

Where you were placed on probation for not supporting your children. Aren't you supposed to let people know that you are a convicted felon? Maybe you should add that to you signature...

I would put a PPP on my site only for a good price... otherwise it's not worth to lose trafic

    LoL it's a Gold Mine .... not !!

For one your title is deceptive and remains un-true :

You wont be paid for every visitor, actually far from it, currently they're (still) serving 100 000 plays across the 37 000 publisher sites per day, so that's under 3 ad's each, $350 is shared amongst the 37 000 publishers per day, read that again - a lousy $350 shared between the 37 000 Publishers or about 3cents each per day.
