I just want some simple reviews for www.boardboosting.com and get a general idea of what people think overall.
is very nice... but you can change the font used on writing on the first page... it looks to simple 7/10
You should include a snowboard or boarder in the header graphic. When I read the domain name, the first thing that came to mind was that it's a site/service to help increase postings on a message board so when I saw the site, the mountain landscape pic seemed strange (and I snowboard). Also, you have Unicode issues
1. Ok as far as the noise. I had put a javascript that is required from a site called payperplay.com . I was testing the sound and forgot to turn it off. That feature will not go live until after February 1. So in the meantime I turned off the sound, so no more static sound atm. 2. I fixed the typo in Austria. I didnt see that. So thanks for pointing it out. It was spelt that way on the orignal template I got from freelayouts.com . I dont think the coder realized it either. 3. I took the chalet out and put a snowboarder in. 4. Filled the header links to snowboarding related stores. 5. I will check the editor to get rid of the � symbols. 6. I put a Shawn White video in from Youtube 7. The site was pretty much informational as far as anything goes. 8. Checked in both IE and FF and looks fine on my end.
i like the designi just think that the ebay ad shoud not ben on the top of the page,maybe below the header image
I agree, you should make something else on the first page, i think its a bit borin to be honest. Beside that, I like the site.
- I like it a lot better now that you added the pic of the snowboarder. - I'm in total disagreement with everyone else on the font. Personally, I think sans-serif is easier to read on screen and serif is better for print. - I still get the black diamond/white question marks when viewing the pages in FF There's some good deals on boardsforless and good choice in video too!
Thanks for reminding me. I hadnt got around to that as of yet. Was busy and that segment of corrections take a little longer than the other typos or corrections. Will take care of that as soon as possible.
I don't know, it looks pretty generic. Maybe you should try to spice it up a little, maybe some flash will do you good !
