What is stumble??

Hi, curious as I see a lot of this stumble items posted. Can someone explain exactly what this is as well as what the benifit is??

It's a social bookmarking site - people give your site (or you give your site) a thumbs up from the toolbar, and it gets added to the sites that people can randomly visit.
It's a way of getting a lot of people to visit your site, but it's fairly untargeted, and the way most people (i.e.real people not webmasters) use it is to click to see a random site, click again, click again, click again - looking at dozens of sites for a second until something takes their interest for 30 seconds - then click again, click again.

(p.s - you could have found out what stumble means by using the Search button^up there)

 

the informations that magda gived is really enough but i'd like to add , its made by the same owner of e-bay (Paypal ,Skype , etc ...)

 

So if anything it might help with traffic to ones site (revenue from say adsense) but related to customer conversions it might not really help.

 

Also, is it strictly random? Or does the more stumbles made on your site somehow increase its rank?
