My Dilemma?

I need some advice everyone.

Do i keep my site earning $5 a day. Or do i sell it. Whereas i can keep it and continue to earn $100 a month adsense and build it up to $300 eventually with some hard work. And sell Text links and make $200 a month when its PR5.

Or do i sell it for $3000 now?

And thats another question with my other site. Earning $3 a day. Do i sell it. Or do i keep it and keep building.

Im forced into the hard decision of keeping sites and building my adsense empire or selling the sites for cheap and getting some cash.

It sounds like $3000 is a healthy buyout for a site earning $5 a day. I'd be tempted to go ahead and sell. But it's completely up to you and there's no right or wrong answer. If you stick with it, you might be able to build it into something larger and more valuable. The cash from a sell would give you more resources for your next project.

 

Sell it and do the same thing over again and again and again.

 

It depends. First of all do you see your sites developing? Do they have a real bright future? Think everything look at the rival site and think again. If you are SURE that you can develop them into better keep them. If not sell. The money are right.

$3000 sounds good, assuming there is no intrinsic value in the domain name you are using - i.e. the sale price is based upon revenue flow.

You have to consider the amount of time you are putting in to get the additional revenue and traffic, and how much you value your time. If your time can be put into another effort which can deliver a better return, then you should sell.

Its good money. But there is no real competition for the site. And i can target some other popular keywords which are not being used. And im sure i could make it go from $100 a month to $300 a month in no time.

Yeh well i haven't really targetted much from the niche yet. Like popular keywords. So if i do, i could earn a lot more.

Im gonna keep it i think. And slowly build an empire of sites. I think thats the most sensible thing to do.

 

As a rule of thumb, they say a site sells for about a year's income. By that, $3,000 for a $5.00 a day site is very good. But each site is unique, and it depends a lot on how much potential for improvement the site has.
