My response was directly related to the thread. The manuevers Israel made at that moment suggested not only to their adversaries military, but also to our own, much to EVERYONES SURPRISE that they were about to retaliate with nuclear weaponry. Stopped the advance, and I mean, pronto, in it's tracks. this was some time ago. Per the interesting events in Syria which our President has refused to comment on now twice, the word is the North Koreans were developing a nuclear capability in some un-named capacity for the Syrians. Israel wiped it out. Does anyone read the newspapers here? What does this portend for Iran?

From their own statements, it is clear to discern that Syria and Iran will use the bomb as soon as they possess it -- either to finally kill off the Israeli's or (more likely) for nuclear blackmail. It will be just like the DDOS attack on DP, but much less funny.
And I doubt that, US will not let them And if they do it, it will be a green light to bomb them for the rest of the world (not only US this time) The worst thing is to disbalance arms power, if your neighbour has a 7 feet wall, you will want to built it as well. Its a common sense. Now add to this , that your neighbour is throwing smth at your house, but u cant reach him. I wonder what would you do. However, Im not sure why both of them need nukes......if they wont use it, just as other countries do have them. To scare each other and balance the power I guess.
No matter what Syria and Iran do, the OIC will not support punishing them effectively. And that is even assuming that they take credit for the attack, instead of sneaking the bomb into Israel.

I just saw this topic, and I read through it. It's a bit old but - One thing I noticed is that you have no idea what you're talking about. First off, even if there were some Jewish militants, there are a lot more Muslim ones. Secondly, if you want to go way back and see who lived in Israel first it was the Jews, not the Arabs. The nations that lived there before the Jews are all extinct so obviously they don't count. For some reason you tend to look 200 hundred years back, but don't like looking 2-4 thousand years back. Third - I would like to see you in the position of people living around the Gaza strip having missiles shot at them everyday. Israel doesn't shoot missiles at civilians, Palestinians do. Last but not least - Why all of the hatred? How many Jews have you spoken to in your life? How many of them were Israeli? I thought that members of DP were all good people. It's alarming to see that there are racists here as well.
You must be new to the Politics and Religion forums. I don't recommend that you stay. There are a lot better things to do with your life than argue with the e-jihadis here. As much as they spew hate, none of them has the courage to pick up a gun or a bomb vest. They are as harmless as little bunny rabbits. Many of us have tried to talk sense into them, but they see the deaths of thousands or millions of people much in the same way as they see a football (soccer) game. They just want their team to win and all other teams to lose. By accident of birth, they are on Team Islam and they come to DP to root for their team. The reality of evil in the world doesn't come into play in their minds. When a woman is executed for the crime of being raped, they simply say "It is Gods will", which is the same in their minds as saying "Anything is acceptable as long as our team wins the (football) game." Some day perhaps they will grow up, but nothing I have yet seen can accelerate that process. But, if you do choose to stay, welcome to hell.
Yes, there sure are. All the result of the injustice meted out to Palestinians. Muslims had to fight back in some way. Anyone would. Muslims did not have the power of technology.
