I Haven't been paid by PokerRoom for more than 2 months now (they owe me well over $3,000).

CJ claims the advertiser does not have enough funds in his account.

PokerRoom claims they asked CJ to close their account due to high fraud leads.

I'm pissed off at them as my website is ranked No. 1 on Google Israel for major keywords and generate 700-1000 Uniques a day.

Here is the email PokerRoom sent me:

    Hello Ben,

First of all, please accept my excuses that you did not receive your money.
For sure it has nothing to do with not being able to pay.

Reason is that we have a tremendous amount of fraudulent signups which we are checking currently.
We are working with a lot of affiliate networks in the world and that never happened before.

We are still waiting for CJ sending us an overview about our account which we did not receive yet.
As soon as this is done, all affiliates will get paid once the rules have been kept.

As of this experiences we asked CJ weeks ago to close the account and inform all publishers. It seems that this has not happened yet.
    Is that correct?

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Thanks, Philipp

Have you tried asking for a phone number? If they have no problem paying you and are trying to close their account, you need to get another line of contact to ensure you're paid.

due to the internal invoice-processes BWin wasn´ t able to payout your commissions this month on the regular basis. We will ensure that the outstanding payment will be included in the next payouts. We apologize for all inconvenience.

I think the real fraud is with Poker Room. I've heard many excuses for non-payment from invoice problems to false leads. This isn't right and Commission Junction needs to do something. This shouldn't happen.

    Friends,

They owe me a lot of money in last 4 months through CJ. I was running both PPC and leads programs for them.

They are taking fake leads as an excuse. Ideally CJ should help us in this scenario but they say "All we could do it put pressure on them for the payment"

I am tired of writing to the CJ support.

Lets join hands and teach them a lesson. Lets teach them that we affiliates are not fraud and cheats. We have spend money and time to generate leads and traffic.

They can not keep us hanging like this.

I plan to travel to Austria next month and have already spoken to a lawyer there.

I need your support to make this possible. I promise you justice and promise you your money.

I am waiting to hear from you guys.

I think this is a scam and the fraud by poker room cannot be allowed to go unchecked. Could be a hefty lawsuit - doesn't pay to cheat people. Awful.

We used to promote PokerRoom through non-incentivized way and it took them a very long time to pay but I did get a notification about it, and we did get paid from them eventually (except for the last month, please read below).

The ironic part is that they're a vendor of BWIN.com and as far as I know BWIN doesn't have financial problems to advertise themselves anywhere in soccer stadiums, Eurosport channel and more. I really wonder what's the big issue to pay the affiliates on time but this is a question you need to ask them and not me, as I'm no longer working with them anymore.

If you need an email address of a person who works for them just let me know.

I'm finding myself editing this post a few times, so here is the stats that we got from them:

August 2007 (end of August when we started to promote them) - we made 1 lead - we got paid for that 1 lead
September 2007 - We made 7 leads - we got paid for 7 leads
October 2007 - We made 16 leads - we got paid for 16 leads
    **NO CHARGRBACKS**
November - We made 7 leads - LEADS ARE STILL IN "LOCKED" STATUS AND PAYOUT WASN'T SENT FOR THOSE LEADS!

So we only got left with no payout for November (7 leads), but they did pay us for all the leads we have generated to them previously.
I'm not sure if they're scam because they haven't paid for November but personally I wouldn't make a fuss about it HOWEVER if you need me to help you with those stats please let me know, I'm willing to help other brothers :)
