I think this is a great point. When i was starting out I knew alot about alot of crap.. But I didnt know what to focus on and i kept jumping from one idea to another, gettign nowhere. Its a good idea to focus on one thing and do it for a month or so then check the results.
do you know the story of the guy who got a $2K check...but then got 99% refunds in the following weeks ? Ok, just kidding. Nice!
Thanks guys! I also just launched my first product today. The affiliate center for it is located at http://www.runyourcarwithwater.com/affiliate.htm
falafelro "include the price, and you'll only get clicks from people who are in buying mode" That is not quite right, because when people see a price, they don't want to click on ad and by putting your price in the add your limit your traffic. After reading a good sales letter, people usually buy a product, even if they were looking for something free. So in my opinion, you shouldn't put a price in the ad.
you can back that up with your own stats? I mean, i experimented with this also...but still not sure whether tis really good or bad to have the price in the ad.l
I don't know about adding price to clickbank products, but it works with other goods, like electronics etc... and Google loves numbers,so it will help your quality score.
I don't know where you get your methods, but price=very targeted visitors. There is no sales letter in electronics.
speed100 The method about the price, I got that from recent Adwords ebook I've read. The author earn about $500+ a day
i agree.. this is why in 99% of cb sales letters you wont see a price at the top of the page.. You need to convince them to buy before you give them a price
People are scared of the price, they want everything free. But when they read a sales page(if it's a good one), they think: "Wow. That's great. I wanna try it".
