Myth? No. Try freelancing instead of making websites (unless you freelance by making websites for other people). Hard work really pays off and being unique is very rewarding.
I just wrote some more tips that you might want to check out. Yep. Now getting the bar higher will help in that! Yeh, good tips. Exactly
You can make momey online, it's just that it is hard to find reputable people or companies to work with. You might want to try forums like this to give you information. Don't pay for any information until you have exhausted all oft he resources form the various forums you can find online.
Earning money online, just like earning it offline, takes work and effort. There are no quick and easy routes. I worked with websites and affiliate marketing, AdSense, etc for nearly two years before I was making a full time income and quit my 'day' job. Learn as much as you can and, as others have said, be persistent.
Making money on the Internet takes time effort and a lot of thought just like anywhere else. If it was so easy then everyone would be doing it. Unfortunately many people have twigged on that moving up the hierarchy can provide money earning potential. What I mean is instead of directly making money on the Internet through simple selling or Adsense, people make software and services to help people make money on the Internet. I wouldn't be surprised if someone released software which helps someone develop software which helps people make money on the Internet eventually This is unfortunate because much of a software is claimed as a magic pill, when infact it usually isn't. Just stick to the golden rule throughout your adventure in this field; if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.
emm..it first I was like you, almost think make money online is a myth..but after i attend an online course from one of popular IM, I got my first online money. It was my great day actually it's possible to make money online nowadays. Just pick the right info and make an action on it. See what you can get there. gud luck!
Kentuckyslone pretty much summed it up. "It takes 20 years to make an overnight success" said one famous actor (whose name escapes my memory right now). Very true in online biz too.
Hi, It is like any other job. If you are good at it you will make money. If not, you will be simply spending money, making someone else rich (parked sites are a gold mine for the registrar, parking host and Google). Some people are really great with ideas, networking, and promoting. Others are better off with a different line of work. Assess your own skills and decide whether you are right for the job. Rich
I've just recently been making money online myself. It IS there. But there are a lot of road blocks. 1. 90% of the stuff being sold here won't work for you. That's the truth. See, everyone wants to make easy money, but it doesn't come that easy. And $10 a day? That's only $3,650.00 a year. My servers cost me that almost. The most SURE FIRE way to MAKE MONEY (notice the caps ) is to start a forum, a niche market in something you are interested in, and become what is known as an authority in that area. Converse on your site... Show them your knowledge in that area. Or help start collecting historical information, etc. People will come together on your forums, which will draw more traffic, on and on... Making it bigger. You can then sell targeted advertising. This is what car forums do, restorations forums, sport forums, etc. And they make money. The nasty secret? It takes time. Some people get lucky... Sure. But the reality is, it takes a long time to build up a reputable site. A flash in the pan or scam site might turn me a big profit for a few months, but that's it. Then I got to bust my butt again to try to find the next big scam or quick buck. Instead, I built a large site that is now profitable, and I honestly no longer need to even be there. But I still post because it's a subject I enjoy. It keeps you going.
That really is true. In the number of people I have talked with, or that have asked me questions and floated their ideas... a lot will never make them money. We are here to MAKE MONEY. Not to be the cool kid. If you are provide a service WHILE MAKING MONEY. Great. But keep your eye on the ball.
there is no free meals, but if you work at something hard enough it ussualy pays off like most on this forrum, i have made $$ online but am no millionare yet
You have to be providing something of value to someone in order to make money. Is there money on the web? http://www.emarketer.com/Article.aspx?id=1005788 You tell me. Keep in mind those numbers are in Billions..
Try something like Smorty, buy a cheap Blog (with PR above 3) in Buy and Sell section, add some new posts and refresh the old posts, Blog for a week or two and make it look busy - ensure the majority of posts are unique, now submit the Blog to Smorty for paid to post opportunities. That's probably the simplest way to make some dollars. Once you get the hang of it repeat it with another Blog or Two, now you will be making an extra $50 - $100 a day, on average just one Blog will make $20 - $30 a day, not a lot I know - but multiply that by 5 days a week and multiple blogs.
Sure you can make money online. I was always unsuccessful prior to last April when I started making proxies. You can for sure make money with the standard proxy websites | image hosts | gaming sites etc. I made $1450 last month from my proxies and I am pushing to pass $2000 this month. The cost was only $300 so that leaves $1150 for profit, which isnt too bad imo. If you would like to know more about proxies check out this post I just made. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=6132046&postcount=11 Hope you make lots of money. MAtt
Traffic is very important. The best way to get traffic is through Search Engine Rankings. This is done through Search Engine Optimization. See Here for details: www.financialfaculty.com/seo/
A while back I was making several hundred per day, without a site, selling clickbank wares by advertising on various networks... The money was easy, substantial, lasted for several months... then slowed down. It doesn't last, it only gets more expensive and the margins get too small to bother with it. And there is one lesson to be learned here, from someone who has done it: The lesson is not that it can't be done, it's that anyone who has actually done it, or knows how, will NEVER tell you how it's done. NEVER. Even 2 years after it stopped being profitable for me, I still refuse to tell people about how I did it, let alone write a "tell-all" ebook to educate the masses. Don't waste time on "how to make money" ebooks and courses, it's all crap. The best way to earn money online is to provide a service or product, free websites included... build something that people are happy to use, recommend to others and even pay for. Spend time to market it, get the word out and do some SEO if possible. The idea will grow, so will traffic and earnings. It can be an overnight success or a project that takes 2 years to get off the ground. The point is that once you build something of value, it actually HAS VALUE and you will make money. Don't give up.
It certainly isn't easy - but many of the skills it requires are also useful for freelancing/consulting....
If you are always chasing your pump n dumps (like buy a site, fix em, dump em), or affiliate sales. This includes adsense, and reselling the same sites, e-books, and clones over and over. Those will get your short time money. It's the fact of the matter. If you want to make a living online, you need to be doing membership sites, or change your business model to focus on things that bring you recurring revenue on top of new sales. You're more than welcome to chase the quick dollar, but you will never make it to long term wealth, or making a living doing online business.
