Does PR increase also increase traffic?

I don't think link buyers will be penalized, only link sellers. If Google penalize link buyers, I will buy link for my competitor then I report them. Very easy to be manipulated. In my opinion, link to a buyer's site will only get filtered, not penalized.

 

Maybe, but ive heard many testimonies, of PR penalization dropping due to having paid links

 

I think it really depends on your specific keyword and market niche....it does help get more reciprocal links though...

ah ok. all the while i thought a high pr would get you to have better traffic. honestly, im new at this. i just started last month and i was given pr4 recently. i'm not really sure what i did right. but it sure is working to my advantage.(reviews)

PR and traffic no connection at all..... even PR with SERPS is not related.

PR just shows strength of your back links.
some of the website are not having good design and navigation though those are having PR more than 5....

I recommended you to choose best design and content for your business, so one can have time to look on it.
because in general more than 70 % traffic are coming from Search engine for website that will help your business.
Just and concentrate on your targeted keyword, you will give much more traffic juice every day.

Hi

Ok, as I not that new but not that old to this too. Lets say I am promoting my website. I would place my links to high traffic websites. I will keep on doing this till I get decent traffic flow. So, on the way of promoting my website for traffic, won't I also get my site's PR rising? ie by placing my links to many websites with good traffic?

I hope I have manage to put my question in correct term...

Google Pagerank does not mean increase in traffic
Traffic increase does not mean increase in Google Pagerank

 

Pr is good for traffic.but not only. have a high pr means you have good banklinks. this is one of traffic to your site.

 

NO PR is nothing to do with traffic, I think only thing what PR does is:
higher PR = Your new content gets indexed faster
lower PR = your new content gets indexed slower

Basicly spiders visits faster in high pr sites.
