vBulletin rel="nofollow" for Links?

    Hello.

At my forum I allow my members to post links in their sigs and threads etc. but I want to make it so that they are nofollow links.

I either want it so only certain usergroups get nofollow links and others get normal links.

I was also looking for something that let people with over 50 posts get normal links aswell.

But all I really need is a simple thing to add nofollow attributes to all links posted by members.

    Is there such a thing?

    Search for "NuHit" on vbulletin.org.
    That's what I use.

Yes I have tried this over an existing installation but the links that were already posted did turn into nofollow links.

I tried rebuilding all the infomation and stuff but it still didn't work, I guess I shall just do it for new URLs.

    Thanks loads :D

No Follow Links might discourage others to join your forum site.

I believe making threads no follow is a great idea
yet making sigs no follow is a meh.
(tho making it no follow will discourage webmasters, yet the main audience will not care)

What i did was i added a redirector to all the urls (http://www.ghforum.net/noref.php?url=) - Posts / Threads
and for sigs i kept some normal but some i added redirect/or no follow rule if your domain contained like (Free and Iphone or (Free xbox360) ect..

If people are joining my forum just to get dofollow links, then they will just want links in which case I would prefer my forum without them.

If you cannot offer welcome drinks to contributors to your forum, give them dofollow links to their signatures. It's a give and take environment. Your forum members contribute to your cause? What can you give to them?

generally forum users have no idea what nofollow links even are or care. Only webmaster or admin forums would need to even worry about this :)
