I a interested in buying a gaming console. But these two are brilliant ones. Please let me know which one is better!
I like the PS3, but for now I'll have to stick with the 360. With games like Mass Effect, COD4, Assassin's Creed, and Halo 3... and the great multi-player.. yeah, 360. I may get a PS3 later on, as I am quite interested in the new Final Fantasy titles... but yeah.
I don't have either one of them, but if I was going to buy one of them I would buy the PS3 longer term the games that they make for that system will be amazing but in the short term there isn't games that utilize the systems full strengths.
I prefer the ps3. I had the ps1 and the ps2 and I loved all the games released to them and I trust Sony.
PS3 may have some great games down the road, but 360 has much more to choose from in the way of games right now.
Kind of agree in term of the look of the PS3. But I just wondering... will Sony launch a slimmer PS3 just like what they did to PS, PS2 and PSP.
PS3 is the best... from ps1, ps2 and psp... sony delivers the best why dont you try nintendo wii it look good also
PS3 is way better than XBOX360 in terms of upgradeability and it sports a lot more features (especially the blu-ray player) . Also don't forget that PS3 now supports DIVX and WMV movies which is so cool. Good games are now starting to come out (Uncharted, Folklore) but in the near future the list is going to grow vastly (MGS4, DMC4, etc) but I must admit that the XBOX currently has a better, longer list of titles but that will change eventually. Lastly, if you're thinking about XBOX360, watch out for the dreaded red ring of death that has claimed so many consoles.
The red ring of death issue has been solved LONG ago. If you buy a new 360 now, your chances of running into that are slim. I have 2 360s and haven't even thought of buying a PS3. If you take a look at the video game awards you will see that most of the winning games were from the 360 and some from the Wii. I have many friends that jumped on the "hype" bandwagon for the PS3 and bought one. Now they come over to my house to play the 360 because they regret buying a PS3. Assassin's Creed, Bioshock (was such a good game I've played it more than twice), Jericho, Two Worlds, Oblivion (also really good), COD4, The Darkness, Crackdown...... And don't believe it when people tell you to buy a PS3 to get your classic Sony games like Resident Evil and Devil May Cry. Tons of games that have previously been solely released on the Playstation are now coming over to the 360....waiting for those two titles to come out on the 360 myself..... Even if my 360 broke tomorrow (it's only a year old) I would immediately go out and buy a new one it's that good. My boyfriend had the ring of death issue and he sent it in, 2 weeks later he had a brand new 360 on his doorstep...who cares about Blu-Ray, I'm too busy playing video games to watch movies....
The bottom line of this discussion is that regardless of all the opinions of the members here, the decision is still up to you. You have to decide what you want to buy. Ask yourself these questions: 1) Which one can I afford? PS3 or 360? 2) Does it have the games I want to play? 3) Is the console I want to buy going to be future proof? 4) Does it have the features that I want? 5) Do my friends have it also? Can I swap games with them? (optional). There are many other things to consider, but at the end of the day it's your decision.
