Here is a detailed article on creating a "viral" video: http://www.techcrunch.com/2007/11/22/the-secret-strategies-behind-many-viral-videos/
it's possible, I know some people who did, but you'll need your scripts to upload an enormous amount of videos. Basically it's just about automation
Well, mac there are a lot of skeptics out there. I personally see some success in my way of marketing on youtube. However, it depends on the goal. I'm currently running a case study/working out the kinks and trying to understand the minds of those who are on youtube because they are a different breed of internet users. However, I can tell you that that there is a major market there, and the potential to get traffic is amazing. My viewers from youtube alone stay on my websites close to 175% longer averaging about 2 - 3 minutes as opposed to the .5 minutes before. i'll get back to you on it as I learn more. are you going to make money directly FROM youtube? eeh, it depends on how you do it. can you get a boat load of traffic - heck yes. take care Bryan
I make about $500/day w/o even trying. depends on the category, title description, watermarking and video content
Yeah I was making $100+ a day by making videos and deliverring hits and Plays to the videos, also by getting the honors for Videos, was simply frustrating working for people and making the videos - some people were to hard to please, I was getting negative responses even with 15+ honors in first day. If you need plays then I can help - but I no longer create the videos. It's all about the first 48 hours and getting as many Plays as possible within this period.
YouTube marketing will only work if your niche is about sexy girls. If your niche is about music or sport will also work but YouTube will delete your videos due to copyright infringements (be careful!). In other niches, YouTube marketing won't work unless you have enough money to feature your videos there.
Hehe I love you Perry will you marry me ? I here some scepticism, I was sceptic aswell - I just ignore the "I make $xxx" posts now, About the sexy girls - kind of true, until the Black Hatters flag them on you, if you go sexy make sure you don't have more than 2 as 3 flags results in a ban - Black Hatters got me several times. As for unless you're featured, well kind of true - all you need is the honors and to be on the most viewed, preferably the top 10.
It's not only "getting more hits", but absolutely much better. Entertainment and adult-related videos (including about penis enlargement and sexy girls) always get plenty of views. But normal or more serious videos always get very few viewers unless you ready to pay for it.
What do I gain by posting that I make a certain amount from youtube if I am not selling anything? My ego? How do you know the "black hatters" are flagging you? Explain that to me...
btw, my vids are "sexy" ones and I would have some people complain that this isn't allowed on youtube. Than several hours are days later my account or vid/s would be gone. Than I figure out that if I mass upload and have several account I could win against the flaggers and I was right
Do you think that each sexy video could get at least 100 or 1000 views in a month? so for example 1000videos per day uploaded X 1000 views would be a 1'000'000 views and if only 1% visit my site that would be 10'000 visitors. Anybody with experience could help me estimate that numbers?
another reason why I won't tell you is because of how you were acting in this thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=497083
It probably works for limited number of people. I tried once. Actually I hired a guy make a video for me. He did video uploaded it on youtube. Result is hardly any clicks from youtube. The video had 150000 views. May be there is other ways I haven't looked into. But I rather spend the money on something that I already know works better.
I make a VERY nice income using video marketing but not just on Youtube. I can say from experience you can market ANY niche you just need to know how to go about it.
I'm just wondering does it have to be You Tube, there are 100's of other video sharing sites that get traffic as well. For example many videos in my space video have 100,000s if not more views. I also noticed that many smaller sites will let you promote your videos for very cheap or free.
