These non-super powers don't try to invade us, they just develop WMD tech and then sell it on the black market. They fight their wars through proxy and then say "what, we didn't do anything..."

    Do you get it now?

yes hes looney because he actually wants to sit down and talk with foreign nations and solve problems peacefully, let me guess you voted for geroge bush the second time? were in this mess and now you wanna vote for someone whos gonna stick that boot more into dog shit. Don't come crying 10 years down the line when the world decides its had enough of america world police and turns on us. You have no idea how close we are to pissing a lot of people off to a point of WW3.

Gtech and all you bush supporters talk about terrorism, what you fail to realize is that we are now the terrorists. Other countries now hate us and there honestly waiting for a big nation to speak up and there soon gonna rally against us or either the world is gonna break out in WW3 because war supporters believe that america has the right to nation build on other countries land. Go ahead and vote our nation and maybe even our world into a huge dirt hole. No one can control the world and we don't have the right to try.

thats how it always was and always will be, we cannot change that. even we do it. Back in the cold war days we gave weapons to afgan fighters to fight the russians back. They used the same weapons to fight us in 2001.

We gave weapons to saddam back in the day, guess what he used them against us too. We are the ones who are feeding these terrorist groups to do our dirty work then years down the line they realize that they don't get anything out of it and they turn on us.

Your the kind of person who only sees the issue the government wants you to see. "Terrorists". They aren't a threat to this country and never were. We had all the intelligence we needed to stop the 9/11 attacks but we din't thats our fault. People are always going to hate us and try and attack us or our leaders but thats why we have the CIA and other intelligence agencys to prevent these. Hate for america din't start on 9/11 it started decades back.

We cannot possibly police the world, even if we had to we couldn't do it, this country is going broke, look at the old british empire for example, they were the strongest nation in the world and they held colonies everywhere but they were stretched too thin and they din't have a good foreign policy either, they thought they could control these colonies by brute force and obviously that din't work out. we are trying to do the same thing. And if things continue the way they are going we too will start to see blow back from all of it.

If we went to war with IRAN right now we would go bankrupt just to prove a point that we mean business. Thats what they want. We go bankrupt and then the world sees america is weak and some people are gonna see this and rise up and all we can do is lick our wounds and run back home. We need to get out of these places with our military in tact and work with these nations, we cannot try and control the world anymore.

China is waiting for this to happen . Isnt anyone scared of the way china is growing militarily and economically. Our debt to them is huge.
If we dont start bringing our troops home and fix our economy they will pass us up. Maybe not in the next 5 years or 10 but 15 to 20 years this is possible.

The middle east and asian countries are still buying into USA banks, the latest was a $6.6 billion injection into Citibank. I expect this to continue as foreign countries take this opportunity to buy into some of USA most respected banks on the cheap.

Dubai's population is probably only 25% Arab Muslim. The rest of the population is the hired help - expats from all over the world.

China will trade all its US paper assets for land. Read the article by Buffett. That's the whole point. Now they're tired of owing paper they'll take the land as payment instead.

One generations irresponsible economics (the baby boomers) will mean that all future generations will have to work for foreigners in perpetuity.

Iraq had biological/chem warfare programs. The plans and tech to build such items is of grave concern when rogue states have shown themselves to be supporters of terrorism. Same goes for North Korea, Pakistan, Iran, Libya, and others.

Sure, you can live in denial and think it's all neocon propaganda, but we lost thousands on 9/11 and it's that type of asymmetrical warfare that will cripple us if done with a nuke or chem weapon. Don't for a moment think there aren't nations that would love to see the US defeated.

Ron Paul says "let's talk, let's trade, we don't need a large standing army" and that's what I call ignorance of the highest magnitude. Ron Paul is the Neville Chamberlain of our generation.

    Said of Chamberlain:
RP is following the same bankrupt path of the appeasers in history. You can't trade with tyrants, you can't talk with liars. Learn from North Korea. They talked, signed agreements, and then had a covert nuke program that produced a nuclear weapon.

RP isn't going to pull one state and would never win the election.

And your foreign policy will see this country reduced to 2nd world status inside of 20 years.

    We are broke.

Apparently, you would like to see us broke AND defenseless.

Stop the BSSSSSS!!! Was mossadegh a traitor, was mossadegh a liar?
No and NOOOOOO. What happened? We allowed our cia to setup a front under an oil company called standard oil, then we allowed certain elements of the elite in our government to take out mossadegh. Why???????????? because he wouldnt give those companies oil for pennies
on the dollar. Stop your nonsense posts. They are made without the benefit of historical accuracy. If we had left iran alone starting in the 1950's they would have been a far friendlier place and the mullahs would never have been allowed to come to power.
This is a fact, go and pick up some history books and start readingggggggggggggggggg. sheesh, im tired of ignorance.

nextebizguy is the latest recruit to the DP P&R Crazy Gang.

It's frightening how many arrive at DP P&R. You only need to look at his avatar for confirmation.

I have no idea how GTech manages to get them all onboard.
