    Hey guys,

I am completely new to Proxy Sites, but find it very interesting and want to have a look at setting some up..

    My questions are

    1) Where to get good templates
    2) does PHProxy come with any templates
    3) Where is it best hosted at?

    Thanks

    1) FreeProxyTemplates.com

Can't really help with the other questions.

    1) Google Phproxy templates or phproxy themes
    2) I think it comes with 1 default one, but its pretty crappy.
    3) OSHQ.com provides hosting for $1.23 per month and you can host more than proxies on their servers.

I've never tried any cheap hosting.

It's generally recommended to go for at least a VPS or even dedicated, says the guys with experience. But then other people say some special proxy hosting is alright.

For several proxies, i'd just go with a VPS to start off, and then transfer to a dedi, unless you have the money and are positive that proxies is what you want to do, in which case go to a dedi box. If you decide to go with a dedi, you will need some serious cash, and depending on whether you get managed, semi, or unmanaged, knowledge of the OS and what ever panel you choose to use (Cpanel/WHM works great). Some knowledge of shell would be nice too.

Don't use PHProxy. Glype is much better.
