what is the difference between games.domain.com/puzzle/file.swf and domain.com/games/puzzle/file.swf ?
in the first case games is a subdomain and in the second is a folder but is there any difference between them cause when you try to modify a file in the puzzle folder you follow the same path.

 

no difference in the file/path, just (sub)domain name is different, games instead of www.

i thought so too but i modified a picture in the puzzle folder and then when i uploaded i notice that
games.domain.com/puzzle/picture.jpg(this remains the same) is different from domain.com/games/puzzle/picture.jpg
(only this is modified)

 

That has to do with your cache. Just wait a couple of minutes or clear your cache and it will work. No biggie.
