    I love me some crawdaddies!

-I'm not sure if your weightloss ads on the left really fit your site (I could be wrong)
-Any specific keywords that you are targeting? Try using some long-tail keywords in your title, keywords, and description unless you rank well with broader terms.
-Add more images and add alt tags to them.
    -Find a better flag image
-Enlarge your header and include a an image (imho)

Good info otherwise. I see that you have original content, so that helps also.

The ads don't really fit for the home page. More applicable in the recipes section. Great suggestion!

Yes, I focus on keywords through url, page title, meta keywords, meta description, and content throughout. LT kw's 2.

Great suggestion for images. I do need more. Did you notice the alt tags in the images on the site now? Do they look OK?

I do need a flag image. That would help huh?

Great suggestions. Thanks for the advice.

    ;)

You can get loads of directory submissions from the marketplace here on DP. Costs start around $10. I did that with one of my sites.

I have done some manually in the past. I don't really know if they helped or not? Was it worth it for you? How did it help? What difference did it make?

    :O)

I don't think it helped getting too much traffic, but I did get some backlinks in Google.

I belive posting your site and asking for feedback helps your Alexa score. Most SEO people have some alexa tools installed. One of my sites really climbed after doing that.

I don't know if your goals are to keep it or sell as niche site so the Alexa rank may not matter.

I took another look at your site and it looks great, but maybe add somemore great content :)

Also, add title="" tags to your links. And make sure your code is loading great for the spiders since your using html.

other than that it looks fine, other than the design from 1987 :D

Yes!!! I went from 1978 to 1987! lol At least I moved up to a decade that you were born in!! lolol

Thanks mate. I'm really trying. Working my butt off on it.

On the image tags, it has "name=" tags. Isn't this equivalent to title tags? It has alt tags. Do I need to go back and add title tags?

    Thank you!

I mean on the links, like:

    <a href="sit.com" title="your anchor text here for seo">

I do that on all my sites, and it seems to help a little.

This site looks terrible, but search engines don't care about the design. :)
SEO is quite good, but why titles are a list of keywords? :|

lol Man, I feel the design love in here! lololol You guys are just so used to plugging the content into little wordpress themes that something like this freaks you out. Funny. Maybe it does look like garbage. Oh well.

On the seo side, thanks man. Titles are a list of keywords? Which pages? What do you mean? I have tried to optimize it by making the page titles, meta description, meta keyword, and <h1> tag all match for the most part. I also use this primary keyword that each page is optimized for in identical anchor texts on other pages within the site.

I must be missing something. Please explain.

    Thank yoU!!!
