I've been searching for a generic domain name (a word) that I can purchase for $1,000 or less. Help anyone?

I have many more than I need.

Any particular requirements regarding length, TLD, industry etc?

It has to be .com and has to be a WORD. Not a phrase.

Do you have one? If so, you can post your domain in this thread.

I was hoping somebody would find one for me and inform about it. I'm honestly not expecting a sale to happen on this thread.

Does it have to be a single word generic name? Or can it also be a combination of 2 words.?

I looked it up and is generic. Honestly, I don't think anyone would pay more than $10 for that domain name because it's pretty much a word that most people don't know about nevermind use. I have the domain Yigz.com which does have a definition in the science community. I honestly don't think it's worth more than $30 though.

A single word (noun) .com under $1000 is difficult. You can find 2 word combos at that price though. I do have a 2 word dot com but that isnt what you are looking for.

Hope you find a good name :).

at this point in the game there isn't anyone getting that lucky. It is too specific, 1 word generic .coms of ANY significance are taken. You can get these weird suffixes that nobody uses or words nobody has heard of (chances are they aren't in the dictionary... because running a dictionary file is pretty easy and has been done for years and years). Nothing is dropping unnoticed and without competition anymore. Everyone owning any decent 1 word .com's gets spammed constantly with lowball offers... so chances of them suddenly turning around that day and accepting one? I'd take luck out of the equation. Don't get me wrong, there is opportunity out there, just the narrowness of this search and the budget aren't going to allow for much.

Not got enough posts to sell anything here, but I do have a collection of 'one word' dot coms. Some do have vague meaning. Others just roll of the tongue easily. Others are more phonetic like Choonful.com or a contraction of two words like 'sMarvellous.com

Chaeta.com ( has a meaning albeit obscure: a bristle or something stiff. Also has some vague connection with cancer and something environmental)
Rytass.com (mispell of the Lithuanian 'rytas' which means morning).
    Pirais.com
    Eatche.com
    Tralah.com

In the unlikely event you want one of them, you'll have to wait till I have a few more posts under my belt. :)
