I am sorting my folders out on my computer. I have a quick question altough, it maybe a matter of opinion to some people...

I currently have a multimedia folder and a graphics folder. My question is, should the graphics folder be inside the multimedia folder. Are graphics part of multimedia or should they be in there own seperate folder outside of multimedia

I think it's better to split it..because if you had videos..maybe that might be different..:D

To be honest, after some research, i think persoanly myself that Graphics belong to the Multimedia folder

"In general, multimedia includes a combination of text, audio, still images, animation, video, and interactivity content forms." - wikipedia

Yes Graphics is in the category of multimedia, so you might want to have the graphics folder in the multimedia folder, but make a folder alias (or shortcut) on your desktop if you are going to be using that folder alot. That way you can stay very organized while at the same time you don't have to root through about 4 folders to get to something every time you need it. Little more convenient that way.

IMHO, I would split the two folders.

I'm assuming that you use the 'graphics' folder quite often, so it will save you a click. And I don't think looking at a dictionary should help you decide, it should be whatever is easiest for you. (if you were making a website for a client, then it might be a different matter)
