Do bookmarks increase PR?

    Bookmark to the sites dofollow link is help you more, nofollow (like StumbleUpon) is nothing :D

    Bookmark is always helpful while google PR update.

    I have website which is only 30 days OLD but very useful Niche ..I have advertise that website via mass mails before 20 days and done normal SEO.

    My stats says around 10k people have bookmarked it and now i have 3 PR :)

    Maybe if the social bookmark sites you are using is do-follow, they may pass some of their pr juice to our sites.

    Social book markings can help your site to increase back links that also help to increase PR.

    The OP I think is referring to bookmarks on your PC. How would Google know about the sites you have bookmarked on your browser? Therefore I don't think it has any influence at all.

    NO.

    PR is ONLY a rating of the backlinks to your site on indexed websites that pass PR. So personal bookmarks do not pass PR.

    PR is not this mystical thing with a lot of variables it ONLY grows from backlinks.

    Does anyone read the original post? He did NOT say social bookmarks he specifically said Browser Bookmarks. Browser bookmarks do NOT give you good backlinks.

    A social bookmarking site can help increase your PR if it uses dofollow...but most of them are also using nofollow, so the link juice will not pass to your site.

    I think browser bookmark is not essential for increasing PR. It neither gives quality backlinks nor other seo operation you need to increase your page rank. One who bookmarks your site may frequently visits your site, so your site traffik may increase due to browser bookmark, but it is not related with PR.
