why my PR is still 0 while back links are 188

can nay one tell me that why my sites unisoft-technologies.com PR is still 0 while backlinks are 188.

any good reason.

 

you do have 185 backlinks with www but the question is, whats the PR of those sites thats linking back to yuo. your PR is based on PR of the sites linking back.

another important thing is, you registered the site in Aug 07, last PR update was in Oct 07 when your site was too new to get a PR. google is updating PR for some sites but mass update will probably start by the end of the month or next month. wait till end of next month and you might see some change. and continue link building.

 

I assume that's the number of links in Google? not yahoo or MSN? If so, you will probably show a PR 2-4 dependant on their quality, but as already said it may not be on this update, it does seem to be a mini one to some degree.

 

what is your site? how old is it?
185 backlinks is absolutely not enough.

 

I have 11k backlinks for one of my sites and yet Google pushed me from unranked to 0. Not asking why, but just sharing a fact.

and also reason behing PR-0 may be because links are not enough good to have good PR

you should focus on getting relevant quality links for your site because google consider most relevant and quality links as backlinks.

 

maybe its the content! You should have great content and make your site user and SE friendly!

 

Don't use other tools rather than link:yourURL.com in the Google search bar to check your backlinks as this is what Google algorithm will measure. Also, don't be too engrossed with it.

Google Page Rank might have some influence on SERPs but just focus on building your SERPs, have nice contents on your site and PR will come in eventually.

 

Even if you have a thousands of backlinks as long as the pr update is not yet done, you still got 0 on pr! As far as I know pr update is every quarter!

 

Are your backlinks of any quality?

 

Try to check other datacenters for that

yes, this guy is correct. This January Google is not updating all PRs.

 

I think the only ones that really know the answer to this is Google. I am in the same boat as you where one of my sites has 180 + backlinks, but is showing PR0 for some time now. But, I have 2 other sites that are PR2 with only 4-10 backlinks EACH. So, I really don't think the number of backlinks you have matters all that much, it's the quality of backlinks....

 

Depends on their pagerank (sites linking to you) and how many outgoing links they hav etc... Depends on many factors. Keep going!

 

PR can be absolutely unpredictable...

PR and backlink is totally different entity

 

some of my sites inner pages having PR as 1 page having PR 1, 1 Pr 2 and one PR 3.

all backlinks are quality links and where are my site is not so old, i am having two blogs just 3 months old and both having good PR 1 having PR 2 and other having 3.

why PR for home page is 0 while backlink is so much, all those 3 pages which have PR have only 1 backlink from home page.
