i am planning to start providing torrent flux hosting on my torrent flux server.

how many people would you like to have on the same server?

what shall be acceptable rates for space and bandwidth?
PS:i will not provide unmetered bandwidth.

what would be proper server specs for it?

would you prefer usa based servers or offshore servers?

Please give proper answers and not unacceptable answers regarding the s[ace and bandwidth.

I would suggest offshore servers if possible because in US and some Euro countries, it can cause legal issues.

As for servers, its better if you could set it up with large HDDs, Large Amount of RAM (VERY important if you plan to have multiple connecitons per ip or multitorrents), and as for connection speed port, depending on your budget, 1GPS or lower.

Also very careful with hosting datacenters.
As i said before not only it causes legal issues, datacenters may even be raied/investigated because of you and it can get "messy"

I'd suggest research more on how to avoid legal issues. ;)

    how would these prices look?

    5-6GB space,
    750GB bandwidth
    2-3 torrents max
around 10 clients max per server in about 15-25USD?

the server would be something like dual core, with 2GB ram

    sounds good with price.

    2-3 torrents per ip?
you may need to raise some ram.

However since you are jsut starting, go with 2 GB ram and raise later if the server shows some needs.

basically a total of 20-25 torrents per server which the server will support(already asked with the tflux developers)

yes Ram can be increase or clients can be shifted.

DMCA is going to be a nightmare unless you host offshore.

In which case your main issue would be connectivity speed I guess, otherwise any customers might just as well use their own computer.

Any chance you offer smaller packages as well?
    Like:
    1 GB space
    50 GB bandwidth
    1 torrent
    for... let's say 5 USD?

I don't plan to torrent much, an I just want to subscribe and forget till I need it...
