In the face of an earlier thread we posted (some of you will recall) regarding not accepting gambling and casino websites for top position we have made a backtrack based on what many of you here had to say on accepting gambling and casino websites into bidding directories. To add to this, a popular gambling site and one of our regular submitters has also just taken top spot at www.BiddingDirectory.co.uk. In view of both of the above there was no way we could disapprove and thinking about this wisely and the fact that we do have a category for casino and gambling websites - I guess it was the right thing to do. Hands up - A valuable lesson well learnt.
£56.00 is not a big payment believe me. It may be when you convert it into dollars as it doubles up to $112.00 but in the UK that money goes nowhere. As I said, a valuable lesson learnt.
to you it might not be a big payment but to a lot it is and im simply saying a lot of people will see this as you not wanting to refund
Of course they will. However, if that was the case then we would have just kept quiet about it. Instead we have stated our reasons and above why we have backtracked - that is treating all businesses with equality.
just a question that is bugging me ... who is We ?? I only see you talking. I respect your opinion about gambling sites and it should go well. If you believe it is the right thing to do then do it because it is your site and you decide
The Only problem is see is here is with Paypal, .co.uk extension of your site & a Gambling site. Just be careful Paypal can turn your account to limited status.
