Google's 2008 Q1 PageRank (PR) Update

google started showing backlinks for my site. no pr yet.

 

All of my sites have increased their PR. Yahoo!
Backlinks info have also updated.
PR died! Long live the PR!

 

The Update has already begun. I have had my newest site go from pr 0 -1 . Very little update but it's a sniff of it.

 

It has now been around 2 days that the update has been happening. I think it will finish off within the next 24 hours.

 

No way, google updates happen for weeks.

Seen a lot of updates the last 48hrs for websites hosted in many different countries, ips and tlds. Both upgrades and downgrades.

But don't think its over yet unless Google has some very weird new algorithm going since the results aren't consistent

 

I think it has actually started. I have had two sites go uo in PR from 3 to 4 over the past few days (I just noticed today and had checked about a week ago for my beginning of the year review - I have quite a few NEW sites).

So I would say it has begun. I have also read elsewhere that Google had stated they were beginning a strong initiative to spread things out on a more regular basis as opposed to quarterly or biannual updates.

Mine is down from PR3 to PR0. What could be the reason?

 

You guys are scaring me, everyone says theirs went down.

 

One of my site went down from PR4 to PR0!
It must be because of the TLA

Say me that current update didn't finish, please!

 

I have boosted my new sites' PR but I think this is not permanent. Let's just wait!

it is very weird indeed .. i started a four blogs around early december last year .. the four is listed in my sig .. babyopus was registered and done only 1 day earlier then the rest ... it now has PR2 from a PR0 .. the weird part about it is ifonlyihadit well that blog has like 4 times the backlinks of babyopus .. but is still PR0 .. so are the rest of my sites ... kinda weird huh .. the worst part is i hve more backlinks compared to other sites which are already PR3 .. and i have kinda strong backlinks too . some even from PR6 .. i think the changes google are doing is a little weird now compared to before ..

Have a look at your link profile and see if the fallers have any singular links from high PR unrelated sites ....or..... have you posted the url here or in your signiture?
