Google rankings - is this good work?

Do you think this is good work?

I own Entrepreneur forum

And for the past 2 weeks now i have beaten my competitor in the google rankings

My key words are 'Entrepreneur Forum' and i am number one on the list (view it here)
the the keywords popular? and my site is a PR 2 and some of my competitors are 3-6 Page ranks


I'm currently 5th for the keyword Entrepreneurs forum here

My next big one is to concur the 'Business Forum' keyword, and i'm no where in sight of that, any suggestions

will i just submit to directories with the keyword business forum instead of entrepreneur forum

and put a few of the keywords on my site

whats your thoughts?

 

You will need more backlinks using anchor text "Business Forum" and also, pagerank plays 0 role in the rankings..It's mainly just if you are looking to sell links..etc. Best of luck to you!

 

I think PR is something your website gets from having a lot of backlinks, and back links with keyword anchor text help with rankings, and therefore PR helps with SERPS.

 

its funny as i was using iweb tools and it says i have 0 backlinks :S i thought i had a few


so how do i get back links then lol :S im confused now

i've summited to a number of directories though and on iweb tools it says 0 :S

 

Iwebtool has been saying that for a load of my sites as well, even though I know I have thousands of backlinks to some of my sites. I think iwebtool has been having some problems recently.

Try Yahoo site explorer for a better look at backlinks to your site.

How old is your site? Any incoming links is a good thing obviously. Keep submitting to quality directories, submit some articles about your site to article directories and digg, and consider tnx.net or DigitalPoint's Co-op network (some may disagree with me there). Build some blogs that link back to your site with your anchor text included. I'm not sure how forum seo works related to other types of sites, but you may want to add posts that internally link to your site with your anchor text attached. Obviously, there are tons of different ways to build links and gain in the serps, but those are my suggestions...

 

thanks, my sites 1.4 years old, i havn't done too much SEO work on it though

 

and business is a more common competitive keyword than entrepreneurs : )) need much more work.

 

Business forum is not easy..
You need more and more backlinks and good contents.
