    Hey DP,
I have a question for you. Can anybody tell me why some sites(all of them actually) open without using "www.". However when we use "www." with some sites they won't actually open but they'll open without a "www."
    For example:
when we use www.forums.digitalpoint.com - a can not find server message appears.
But when we use forums.digitalpoint.com - it opens without any problem.
(i dont know if it happens with all of you, take it just as an example)

I was searching answers for this but i found none of them satisfactory.

    ANSWERS AWAITED EAGERLY

The "forums" part in the digitalpoint domain is a subdomain of digitalpoint. And subdomains usually never work with the www in front.

www in itself is a subdomain .....

    digitalpoint---------- main domain
    www .digitalpoint.com---------sub domain
    forum.digitalpoint.com----------sub domain

most people forward main domain to sub domain i.e. digitalpoint.com ---->www . digitalpoint.com

    :)

Maybe you would be more satisfied with the answers if you actually read/tried to understand them ??

Yes, very rightly so. Thank you for clarifying my doubt and look once again at the answer.
