Google's Page Rank Discussion Thread

Seems a full update has happened. Some of the pages at my sites have received PR upgrades.

How about other webmasters

 

most of my sites keep same PR, just 1 site increased from 0 to 1.

It is a disappointing update for me.

 

Well, Google updates for December has caused our sites to go from:

PR4 - PR3
PR4 - PR1
PR3 - PR2

Just awesome, any way to research why this happened, or to get any other information to see how we can boost our page ranks again.. Or is this permanent, has anyone else had the issue of their sites PR crashing from Decembers updates?

 

Hmm... no change over here yet either . This is like the night before Christmas, you know its time for presents (in this case PR updates) so you stay up (and keep checking)

BTW, where do you all see the unconfirmed PR's?

Well, I'm hearing that new sites are getting high pr. This is a weird update.

 

One of my new small sites that had no pr:

Homepage: no pr -> pr 0
Inner Page 1: no pr -> pr 3
Inner Page 2: no pr -> pr 0
Inner Page 3: no pr -> pr 3

What kind of goofy stuff is this? My homepage has nearly all the backlinks. Just a few for the inner pages.

 

Like I said, this update is weird. lol

My blog PR update:

1. PR3 to PR4
2. PR0 to PR4 (2 month old)
3. PR0 to PR3 (old blog has been penalized by google before)
4. PR0 still PR0. This blog also penalized by google for selling text link

but this kind of update is look weird.

Don't worry. It's just started of PR updates still takes more time to finish the whole process. You may see changes in Backlinks.

 

Yes i have seen change in back links and change PR in inner pages, but home pages is still at the same PR. hop to see some good pr for all the sites.

 

Well you are right. My domain PR is not yet changed but Inner pages changed now. I hope I would get better PR.

 

I just checked another one of my newer small sites. Same thing as I posted above. Some inner pages got pr 2, while homepage is a pr 0. All pages were previously no pr.

I hope this update is not completed yet...

 

Hey, I have seen a few updates with my sites, but one I've been thinking about.

I've got to ask.

I have this pr 4 site and I was sure that it would've been going up a little but when I looked it's the same.

How do I know if the pr actually updated on it, or it hasn't gotten around to it.

 

No changes yet on my side

 

I'm not aware of a way to tell if it has been updated or not. What I would do is keep an eye on the forums. Many are reporting inner pr changes and no homepage pr change. Once they (including myself) start seeing our homepage pr updated, chances are the update is close to completion.

i see some inner pages updates but nothing on homepage on any of my sites. still waiting...
