    How and where from collects the Google back-links?

    I ask this because, in case of one of my sites, it shows a certain amount of Google back-links which are NOT revealed in case of a link:www[.]mysite[.]com search in Google...

    Its a luv/hate relationship for many including myself... :eek:

    I myself enjoy the search and have to tip my hat to them for the effort that their engineers actually put into the G search which is far more advanced then
    others But feel that certain factors like the "PR" are so messed up that it should be removed from the toolbar all together as i see junk receive fair to decent PR 3-4-5 while better built sites are getting PR 0s or 1s which tells me that the person hand editing or algo being used is inaccurate and prejudistic to say the least and not a true measurement of anything.

    my ZD is showing PR4 with 747 google backlinks. PR3 for penalised ZL, but nicely showing 1750 G backlinks. Ah, life is unfair at times.
