Just because you don't like it does not mean it is not the truth! I could be a lunatic, a racist, a serial killer whatever I might be how the hell does that make Ron Paul a bad person? You keep getting caught time and time again and you keep getting owned over and over here and yet you still try to discredit Ron Paul because everybody loves him and you hate that! And nobody gives a shit about you or your theocratic candidate!

Let's see if guru-seo will apologize for all his vitriol about Jews on this forum. One standard for thee, another for everyone else.

I couldn't have asked for a better response to the racist comments you made.

And just to confirm, you support Ron Paul, right?

    Makes sense.

    Makes sense.

Sure, knock yourself out, then I'll be forced to waste my time cutting and pasting the following for the fifteen-thousandth time, due to your fifteen-thousandth lie, and it will never end.

Now, in god's name - what does any of this have to do with the topic of this thread? Will you quit jumping to off-topic threads to post this bile?

So you are a recovering Muslim racist I take it? Is that what we are supposed to understand. Are you sure you are fully cured? I can recommend a really good doctor.

You still have withdrawals? As I do get a feeling from your bias posts you might.

Why are you referring us all back to my post, which proves my point?

To answer your question, no, I'm a human being, who seeks compassion and truth in just about every exchange I have, guru. Which is why I'm quite open with my own shortcomings, as well as my desire to learn.

In truth, though I do get profoundly angry with your lies and disruptive posts, I feel sorry for you, because - and I mean this quite sincerely - I think you are deeply lost. We have one life, man - fill it with worthwhile endeavour.

I can say the same when I read some of your lies or distorted posts. I'm just bringing to light the double standard thats all. Maybe next time you start taking sides, please do put yourself in the shoes of the OTHER side.

I'm sorry you feel hurt by my posts, guru, and I was guessing this is why you continue to run to off-topic threads in this way. I've been transparent, and do not "take sides." I find the concept itself pretty ridiculous, actually, in a forum full of presumed adults and not schoolyard children at play.

Please provide a single instance of a lie or "distorted post" on my part.

Well considering he never apologized for saying I had two accounts, I doubt we will see that happen.. Now that he is gone, I can pretty much say, I think fat chance would be the operative word to use in this case.

Northpointaiki has to be one of the most unbiased, if not the most unbiased person on DP... Guru's comments and accusations are WAY off base... Way off!

Trying to discredit a politician because of his supporters is ridiculous. Last night Fox News was trying to associate Ron Paul with the "truthers" that support him. One of my favorite moments of the debate was when Paul said "please let me take part in the debate" and the crowd cheered. It's ... just so... disgusting... to try and distort someones views based on what *some* of someone's supporters believe. Huckabee has some real lunatic supporters too, as do all of the other candidates. So what. That shouldn't even be an issue.

Thank you, Jeremy. I'm least happy when I lose my cool, as I have here, with guru. But I do try, and I do know the limitations of my knowledge. I appreciate your saying what you have said.

Interesting side comment. Last time I was at my barber who was born in Vietnam she mentioned a couple of things including that her parents moved to Houston where there is a very large Vietnamese community and that McCain is very popular among the American Vietnamese community.

I'm not Vietnamese by origon and didn't know anything about that....but it seems that his history, as was told to me, is the opposite of what was reported in that news piece.

Wow. It really doesn't take a lot to get banned here.
If mods don't agree with a certain point of view or support that clown in the White House, it is their problem, but they should allow freedom of speech.
If he's not allowed to express himself, the opposite view should get banned as well, for supporting mass-murder on a worldwide scale.

Rank, I guarantee you Guru was not banned for his point of view. You have very few posts, so I will tell you my experience, namely that there is a wide berth here. People do not get banned for their point of view, but for the manner in which they get it across.

It isn't right to speak ill of him, because he isn't here to defend himself, but if my latest several rounds with him are any indication (a walk through this thread alone is a good example), I'm not surprised.

Actually it does.... This is the most lax forum I know...

I don't believe anyone is playing favorites... Freedom of Speech does not have to extend to an internet forum.. There are no laws governing that...

If the he you are referring to is who I think it is, I am pretty sure it is a culmination of infractions over time and attacking another member here for no reason that got him banned, not his opinions or the differing opinions of a moderator...

Besides the fact there isn't any Mod that would even be considered 'undecided' much less a 'neocon' (aka jew) I doubt any mod likes Bush and the owner of the forum hates him too.

Thanks for pointing that out, North. I went through this thread and concluded it was way too light to get banned over a simple opinion. Having said that, I don't know about his past posts.
You are right about my low number of posts, but I read quite a lot on DP. I only log in when I feel the need to react.
It's just that I notice (too?) many banned members on DP. While I know how hard moderating can be - I'm a mod on 2 forums - I'm of the opinion that DP doesn't deserve the award for 'most objective forum'.
Sorry for my off-topic rant, but I found it necessary.

Understand the lurking thing. No problem, Rank, of course you're free to your opinion. I just don't agree.

In my time here, I have never seen a member banned for his or her views, only for a consistent pattern of resorting to what I'd call "unfair fighting," e.g., harassing another member, posting posts without any kind of substantive content whatsoever (like, "you suck" and its variants, not "you couldn't be more wrong, and here's why"), etc., and the reasons included in the sticky to the P&R section.

I can only speak for my recent history with guru, but this thread really is but one of numerous threads and posts that I would call way out of line - I'm holding my tongue here, and this was just my experience. but basically, in my case, rather than engaged in substantive discussion, I found myself more and more refuting stuff that had already been refuted numerous times already, or with the feeling the argument itself was the game, not the substance of the issue at hand; much more. I'm just not surprised he's gone, because this was the way he generally went about things.

I don't want to talk about it more, because I really do feel it's wrong to discuss a banned member, who can't be here to defend himself. You can take a look for yourself, if you'd care to.
