How can I use YouTube to get links back to my site.

Is it possible to place links back to websites from a YouTube page?
I know you can put a link on your YouTube profile but is it possible to place links on individual video pages? or are there any other ways the site can be exploited for back links.

    Any advice is much appreciated.
    Thanks in advance

You can also put a Utube video on your site. If it gets enought clicks you will appear in the top 5 links on the video page. ;)

I think you will find it difficult to get any pr off youtube, but if you are just looking at gaining extra traffic then sticking your URL in the bottom right hand corner of the video would work.

One thing that occurs when you post YouTube videos is they end up on a lot of other video sites as well. By simply putting you URL at the beginning and end of your video itself you will see great results even without an actual link.

I think it would be best if you can try to get back links from social bookmarking sites, social media sites, directories, blog posting because Google will consider quick backlinks from it.

Nofollow will stop the flow of PageRank for sure, but you'll still be helping your overall link profile.

I here, by putting your url in the title is much better than using it in your video.

you will only gain faster index if you have new but no link power.
it will bring a nice traffic to your site but no linking power.
