I was wondering if you all are using amazon webstore for you sites to sell as an affiliate. So I guess my question is are you using you own host provider and setting up an affiliate website with amazon products or are you using an amazon webstore for th $60 a month plus 7% trans fee, or are you setting up an astore? I was just wondering how most of you were setting this up. Also please verify, If you set up an amazon niche website, you can pull products from all of amazon.com and get the affiliate commission which varies from category to category?
On boardgamesforall.com , we use our own hosting provider and a script called Associate-o-matic to generate the store. You could theoretically pull items from all of Amazon, but that would defeat the purpose of creating a "niche"
I'm having great success on my blog/Associate Store for Wii's. Wii Store using the Associate-O-Matic Script.
i use only tje aff code not the store i dont want that the visitor will think that its commercial site.
Interesting venture. have couple of questions for you, if you dont mind. can you share a bit on how you promote your site ? is the software Search engine friendly. reason why I'm asking, your store pages listed in google is not that much. so I just wonder how you get your visitor. thanks
Great post guys. I am slowly learning the procedure. I really am not familiar with all the tweaking on blogs and website. I hope to learn from people at this forum since its all very informative.
I think it's better to have your own hosting and link to the amazon products. 60 dollars a month plus 7 percent? screw that!
Yes, I just link to products. I have an astore (http://astore.amazon.com/thebauinsandp-20), but it has not generated much yet. The product links in my content seem to work the best.
