Question - on the DP Optionpage it asks
"It should be in the form of pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx." for the publishers ID

however my publisher ID for content is "ca-pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"
what up with the "ca?"

Can I just drop in in like that?
or do i need to remove the ca?

 

You don't need to add "ca" with your pub id.
Just - "pub-xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"

DP does not pay you Google does. You insert your Adsense ID and from there earn some money. It's called revenue sharing.
