Mike, I know 2 forums where you're still not a member.. but heh, I won't tell as you'll join them then lol
Proskater, stray away from posting your personal sites too much. That'll get you a red reputation fast. Good luck on your sites though
It's really nothing special to do at that age. However, what I learned when I was that young is not to reveal my age as older people wont take your seriously as far as your like a kid. I would always say I was 19 or 20 just because everyone in whatever I was always doing was at those ages.
So who all here is under the age of 20 and make big money on the net? I myself own a few small company's and make about $1,200 or so a month purely online. I have not had a job FOREVER... Who is my competition???
Actually being under the age of 20 and getting money over teh web is quite a big deal. I'm very young. More young than 20 years old, i've to learn english first, learn how to do website on my own, how to add content. How to make it relevant and all. but i am on THE way Cheers !
I've been doing this (and actually making money) since I was 19. I'll be 22 next month and this is my only job.
Don't know what "big" money is, but I am 20, and am making decent money (at least to me). It has been even better as of late. I work at another job - (can't beat the money and benefits), but if earnings keep increasing, I may dedicate myself to the web full time. I've been trying to make money online since I was 17, and LOST a lot of money the first year or so. But now I know more and am reaping the benefits. I just wish I would have started coding and doing affiliate marketing when I was 14... would have been a lot farther along. I was too worried about girls in high school to do that.
$1,200 big whoop. Chump change. And you cant say you own a company until you actually file the paperwork to make it a legal entity. Making money online from scratch just building the websites and trying to actully make money off them is very hard due to oversatuaration and exponentially rising online advertising costs. What i mean by scratch is no connections. Just build a site and work your way up from there. I dont recommend it as an income source. JMHO. Try to offer a service people will buy using offline advertising. The website should just serve as a crutch to display your latest products, customer service, pricing, buy now form, etc. But your whole business should not revolve around it. For exmaple, i am selling a stock market software program I developed for $300 a copy. Make good money And all my advertising is offline.
wow everybody is young like that here heyyyyyy thats cool. At leat it proves we can get money over the web even young lol. Anyway thats pretty good to know !!
