I wanted to know why people post that they want to exchange paypal with M/B or E-Gold ?
Why cant they just transfer from their one a/c to another ?

There are only 3 which are popularly used here, ie Paypal, Moneybookers and E-Gold and since it is against TOS to exchange to and from Paypal and Moneybookers, it only leaves the exchange of e-gold to e-gold as the only means which is not against TOS which in the end would defeats any purpose.

I guess you see a lot of exchanges because for one, some people needs funds while others see a good opportunity to con others out of their money by making a deal which you cannot resist.

Some people needs to get rid of e-gold because it is so darn hard to convert to real money and see the chance of doing a e-gold to paypal transfer. What happens in the scam is that e-gold is not going to help you once your e-gold is transferred out and since it is against TOS through Paypal, the scammer can just make a dispute claim and you lose your paypal and e-gold funds altogether. Seen too much of those happening here on a regular basis and yet people still do it.

Its totally depends on people's need. Like some websites only accept payment through paypal or moneybookers or egold so people exchange as per their requirement. For e.g. one of my hosting provider only accept egold and i am not using egold so i have to exchange my paypal to egold with person who do this for me.

Direct transfer from an account to another isn't possible. I think the main cause is that at a moment in time a person has let's say funds in paypal and needs to make a payment through moneybookers. Assuming his bank account is empty the only way doing that would be withdrawing money from paypal (2-3 days) and depositing into moneybookers (another 2 or 3 days). Are you willing to wait 5 days when you need something done now? I'm not. :D

Most payment processors do not like like currency exchanges and will likely ban or limit account holders who are caught doing this.

I transfer from Egold to paypal and vice versa because i need it for my WoW Gold site :D

I buy WoW Gold cheap using Egold and sell for 5x and take the payment in Paypal. Then i convert the paypal back to egold and repeat.

Its a great way to make some extra cash :D

( I use WoW gold in my forum as well, I reward my members for posting and being active, yet i get inreturn even more biz :D )
