Hello , I have doubts on registering or not few LLL.in domains. So what is the value of those ? Which Letter combinations are worth something ? For example: XKA.in it has 1 premium letter - A 1 lower quality letter - K and 1 lowest quality letter - X Thanks in advanced. Tom
Reg fee obv because there are some at that quality available to register still. Only some of the premium and cvc.in domains actually sell for anything right now but the only buyers are SUPER enthusiastic LLL.in investors.
Ahh aren't you from NamePros? I think a few thousand are left? They aren't scheduled to get reg'd up until later this month, aren't they. Don't think the vacuum got em that fast
In fact according to the rapid fire scanners... All LLL.IN have been registered!! Other than drops (& these are snagged within seconds) all future sales will be through an Aftermarket. LLL.IN have joined NNN.IN and N-N.IN with L-L.IN nearly all registered (52 left yesterday).
I read on NP yesterday there was only 117 LLL.in left. Good to see that all LLL.in have been bought. At this stage, there hasn't been a set min reseller price yet beyond reg fee.
I think a rough basement for premium only reseller price was around $40-50 (prior to the LLL.IN buyout). I personally would not sell for that low as the value to end-users has been low XXXX.
If you look up the post a little, you will noticed they are all gone but with renewal fee so high, some will drop but they aren't that easy to get.
Yes, all LLL.IN are registered along with all NNN.IN, N-N.IN and L-L.IN. The less than $4.00 initial registration fee over the past few months has resulted in a more rapid registration than was occurring. The ~ $13-14 renewal will most certainly lead to a number of LLL.IN being dropped but these will be snapped up quickly (as is currently happening). The higher fee will result in a redistribution of names to those with the fortitude and foresight. JMO
Yes, that is true. This means that a few things could happen. One being that if LLL.in all raise in value just like LLLL.com's did that they will always be grabbed and even non premium can sell for alright (but the renewal may make the market less crazed), while on the other hand, if it shows that only premium lll.in's seem to be ahead, a lot of non premiums will drop, and after being tasted, some may not be sold so they will be available again, but if it's only $4-6 to register it after it becomes available, they won't last. The renewal fee is definitely crazy and I hope that we seem some discount coupons for them in the near future so I can keep my collection of l-l.in's
That would work amazing except for one thing, every one else is going to see value in these domains as well Thats why we don't let them expire, for someone with faster hands and tools will snatch them up.
That's still bad for a developing extension (so many good .in's available)...seriously, anything past .com to renew is not reasonable. I would predict coupons offering as low as $9.99 for renewal though. Would you really keep " xqw.in " for $13 per year renewal?
For that letter combo, no I wouldn't because my money could be put into better domains. For premium letters, I would renew even at that price. It's just like the LLLL.com, I would never buy any crap LLLL.com like qwzx.com as those letters don't have much potential for endusers or for much growth IMO. It would've been good if the .in were the same renewals as the .co.in extention which is about half the price. I've only got 3 LLL.in names & I actually renewed them a few weeks ago, but still, it's cheaper then renewing .tv names @ $24.95 which is coming up for me in about 2 weeks.
