as title asks, How much traffic is required to get even $1 a day?
I have like no traffic yet and my impression are 30 max at times. But just asking for the future so i know where to aim for.

It depends of many factors, like niche (click value) but in the most optimistic scenario, you need at least 100 visitors daily. But today, you will need much more (unless you have an financial/mortgage site).

It really depends on the type of traffic you get. For instance, I have two sites that get about the same amount of traffic: 800-1000 page views per day. One of them brings in about $0.50 and the other brings in $15.

On average you will probably get between 3-7 clicks per 100 visitors. So simply figure out your average pay-per-click and you will get a general guideline.

Of course it depends on how you implement your adsense as well.

Depends on your niche, but I would say around 300 to 500 pageviews probably...

I would say 500+ personally. You need loads of traffic to even earn such a small amount :(

I have a few sites that get 100 impressions that make $1 throughout the day. I have a few that get around 30 and do the same thing. Depends on the website and what type of advertisments are paying for that type of website. I have one that gets close to 2k a day on only breaks 50 cents a day.

The biggest factor here is your niche. If you get $0.01 to $0.02 per click that that will take a minimum of at least 100 uniques a day to reach $1.00

I would say just try it out, and you will see how much it takes. If your not satisfied with $1 a day, then get some more traffic and make it more ;)
    Success

Ad placement is a big factor, i'm still trying to tweak mine on one of my sites. It gets way more than 100 uniques/day but my CTR is horrible. But like someone else said, it depends on your niche.

I have several sites that run adsense. My experience has been:

    Financial (mortage, payday loans)
    $1 - $2 per click. 20% CTR. I need 5 visitors to earn $1.

    Work at home
    $.35 - $.85 click. 20% CTR. I need 14 visitors to earn $1

    Real Estate
    $.40 - $.60 click. 18% CTR. I need 14 visitors to earn $1

    download music
    $.01 - $.05 click. 6% CTR. I need 1666 visitors to earn $1

... hope my math is correct

Aside from nitch, so much depends upon ad placement and the general look of the website.

Is the CTR for each web site you have or a total for all?
Say I had one site where every time it gets a view someone clicks an ad, and i have another with like 1million views per day but no-one clicks an ad,
will google pay me a different CTR on the site that does great? or is it a running mean?
