I dont know if this has been suggested before, I used the search and couldn't find anything relevant or similar so I'm throwing the idea out there. I would love to see DP have a new logo!! And what would be better than to have the user's of the forum submit designs to be then nominated down to the winner! I think this would be a great idea and would help bring back forum morale. With everything going on here lately, I think something like this would help to bring the community spirit back to our community. Plus it gets everyone to participate in the design of the forum? I dont know, this thread might end up getting closed because it won't happen but thought I would just see what everyone thinks... Love to hear your thoughts!
There will not be an official sponsored DP contest so I moved the thread to GC so it won't get closed.
Well personally I think everything needs a change sometime, just thought that it would be a nice change to see people working together to help create a new one. Personally I think it is a little blah, but thats just because I look at it everyday and as a designer I might be too critical. We've already heard that there will be no DP sponsored contest for a new logo. I suppose we could all come up with something and post it anyways? Maybe Shawn will see the thread and decide from there? I'll start, I just have to put something together and then post it. I will update soon. Come on guys you can submit yours too! EDIT AND UPDATED: Here is my first go at it!
